Join wine and spirits merchant Justerini & Brooks as they welcome Rhys winemaker Jeff Brinkman to London for a special evening of wine, food and conviviality. They are taking over the Lower Ground Floor of Notting Hill favourite, Julie’s, where there will be a bespoke menu to complement the wines. Rhys Vineyards has built up a near cult like following in just over two decades of releases. Their single vineyard bottlings of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Santa Cruz Mountains are considered amongst the very top echelon of wines produced anywhere in the United States. Hailing exclusively from self-planted, high-density vineyards, where yields are naturally low, their light touch winemaking allows the terroir to fully express its character. For this event Justerini & Brooks have dug into their reserves to unearth some library vintages from Rhys’ most iconic sites, in bottles, magnums and double magnums!
