Discover the joy of embroidery on a relaxing Saturday afternoon! You’ll learn different stitches and create a vibrant floral or botanical pattern, ready to hang on the wall. This makes for perfect handmade home decor or a thoughtful gift for loved ones. The course includes all basic materials (hoops, threads, needles), sketches to choose from, tea, and nice music. 1.5-Hour Sgraffito Workshop Discover the decorative technique of sgraffito in this focused one-and-a-half-hour ceramic workshop. Working on prepared clay tiles, you’ll use underglazes and carving tools to create layered designs by scratching through the surface to reveal the clay beneath. This session is perfect for beginners and anyone curious about surface decoration. You’ll explore line, pattern, and contrast while learning how this traditional technique can create bold, graphic results. All materials are included: Prepared clay tiles Underglazes Tools and aprons After the workshop, your pieces will be clear glazed and fired by Clayground. **Life Drawing with Watercolour** Join us for a relaxed and creative life drawing session at Two Fellas Bar. On **Saturday, 18.04 from 17:00 to 19:00**, we’ll explore the human body through watercolour in a playful and expressive way. Working with both **short dynamic poses** and **longer, more detailed studies**, this session invites you to loosen up, observe, and experiment. We’ll focus on techniques such as **quick gesture sketches**, **wet-on-wet washes**, **layering**, and **expressive brush strokes** to capture movement, form, and atmosphere rather than perfect detail. Join our welcoming **life drawing** session where participants are invited to both draw and model. A relaxed and respectful space for **creative exploration**. Our **Longer Poses Sessions** give you the opportunity to go more into detail when we do **up to 25 minutes** poses. The session takes place in our beautiful space **right at the waterfront** at Spreefeld, creating a calm and inspiring atmosphere for drawing. We meet and sketch each other in Berlin. This is just an art gym that we also exercise our social skills. Afterwards usually we go for lunch as a group. **How Does It Work?** This event is simple, we meet and sketch each other doing portraits. Most of the participants use pencils or watercolors. Main aim is to socialize while we draw. There will be plenty of time to talk and get to know each other. We have to mention that this event is suitable for all levels. Many have started to draw in our event actually. **Structure** A. Warmup Phase: We pose to each other for 1 minute. B. Main Phase: We pose to each other for 10 minutes. C. Over time I'm hoping to organize a hike to all the Franklin County Metro Parks. This is the first one so if you're interested jump in! We'll start with the Canopy Walk, a cool feature of this park. Climb 100 stairs to the top - or take the elevator if stairs aren't your thing. At the top there are a bunch of things to play on - a rope bridge, a fireman pole that we can slide down - and more! About fifteen minutes there and we'll head to the natural trail, Buttonbush, Maple and Beech Trail for 2.2 miles then do a 1.7 mile loop on the paved Greenway Trail. We'll be passing our cars as we transition if you only want to do the first loop, or the second loop. Pace of around 3.5 mph but no one left behind. If there is an interest we can grab lunch nearby afterward.

Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. **SCHEDULE:** 6:45ish - Quick introductions 7:00 - Timer starts: write for 1 hour 8:00 - The End **OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING** happens before and after the writing hour.
