We'll start off the session with a run in Gleisdreieck park that might include scaling some walls, visiting a few sites in the area to explore their opportunities for climbing and balancing, or going up or down stairs in unusual ways. After the outdoors bit, we come back to our gym where we focus on building strength, working as a group, and learning basic martial arts techniques. We are a small, friendly group open to anyone, without any prior knowledge or specific degree of fitness required. Our martial art is Jutaijutsu, a traditional Japanese one focused on self-defence.
Sounds interesting? We'd love for you to drop by and join us. You'll need running shoes and comfortable workout clothes, including a raincoat or the like for the park if the weather is bad. Once indoors, we train barefoot. The first three Meetups are free of charge. If you'd like to join our group beyond that, we would ask you to join our association, https://yanagi.berlin, a martial arts school based in Berlin. Membership there is 30 EUR/month and you will be able to train three times a week.

This session is guided by **Javi de Lacour (@javidelacour)** — the main facilitator of the event, with **over 200 ice baths completed** and **more than 80 guided immersions**.
Together with **Paula García**, we create a safe, motivating and transformative experience.

### **1\. Wim Hof Breathwork \(10 min\)**
Before entering the cold water, we prepare the body and mind through guided breathing:
* Immediate mental control through deep, conscious cycles
* Strong oxygenation and energy activation
* Emotional grounding and focused awareness
* Calm confidence to face the cold

A supervised immersion in the lake’s cold water:

Join us for a 6-7 km run.
We start at Espresso House at Oranienburger Tor station and run towards and along the river. We turn back after about 3.5km. We will be at a steady pace between 6 and 6.30 minutes per km.

On January, 17 we‘ll meet at S-Bahn Plänterwald at 11 am and will run in the direction of Rummelsburger Ufer.
It’s a 6k easy run with two short workout sessions along the way, so feel free to join, even if you’re new. Each workout will last about 10 minutes, with exercises adapted to suit every individual’s level.

**Combining a variety of TopRock break dance moves in the format of HIIT training, this class will be like no other you have taken! Specifically created with non-break dancers in mind, this class is fun, engaging and totally beginner friendly!** 🤸♀️
*What exactly is TopRock you might be asking?* Toprock is the **standup part of breakdance**. When break-dancers are showing their skills, they will often start with toprock. Join me for my **Beginner Calisthenics Class** every Wednesday at 7pm at a park (check the location below) and learn how to build strength, flexibility, and confidence using just your bodyweight.
My name is Maroof, and I’ve been practicing calisthenics for the last 4 years. I love this sport because I’m fascinated by the incredible movements the human body can achieve, and I believe calisthenics connects people, builds communities, and is one of the most sociable forms of fitness out there.
In this class, we’ll cover the fundamentals like push-ups, squats, and core exercises, and also dive into the basics of more advanced movements such as the planche, front lever, back lever, and freestyle calisthenics, all in a fun, supportive environment where you can progress at your own pace.
\*\*No experience needed, just bring comfortable clothes, some water, and a positive attitude. \*\*
