This workshop will cover some of the terms used by the egg industry, standard practices in various farming and backyard chicken/egg scenarios, the health issues chickens face associated with egg laying, and the ethical considerations of using another species as a food source.

A cooking demonstration using egg replacements and sampling of vegan eggless recipes will follow the discussion.
