Tao Yin Yoga incorporates breath with movement to collect Qi in key parts of the body. The use of twisting and stretching increases flexibility, releases toxins of the bodies, improve bone health by twisting tendons, core strengthening and increased circulation and vitality to all the organs systems. Please bring any yoga mats, cushions or blankets you need. There are some yoga mats and cushions available at the studio for your use. Where: RiverGarden Yoga Center 455 West 7th Street St. Paul, MN Directions: Please use the gated entrance in the back of the building, on W Sturges St. Go between the garages, through the garden and down the stairs to the lower studio. What we're about

This group is for all lovers and eager learners of Qi Gong and Tai Chi.

Who Should Join?

Any Individual interested in the pursuit of health and growth through the use of Qigong and Tai Chi

All skill levels are welcome.

Beginners:Beginners are especially welcome to this group. If you are brand new, there will be lots of new Qigong and Tai Chi skills to be learned. Free intro classes and lectures will be organized weekly, and even some exciting classes to get your feet wet in experiencing energy and meditation through the power of movement!

Intermediate and Advanced practitioners: For seasoned Qigong and Tai chi practitioners this is a chance to learn new forms, gain deeper knowledge into your current Qigong and Tai Chi practice, chances to exchange pearls of wisdom with other Qi~gongers and Tai Chi~ers as well as the joy of generating Qi together as a group.

Types of Meetups

Beginner and introductory classes will be organized every week in multiple locations.

There will also be classes for free will donations offered and organized through this Meetup Group by certified Qi Gong Teachers.

Other types of Meetups might include practice sessions, themed Qi Gong and Tai chi get-togethers, and possibly healing exchange sessions. Please email the organizers for preferences about Meetup offerings and preferred dates/times of events. Above all, this Twin Cities Tai Chi and Qi Gong Meetup group is about having fun deepening your practice and learning new practices and meditation skills.

Qi Gong and Tai Chi is joyful and important to effect healing and change inside the body, mind and spirit.
