👋 Hello and welcome to the Event Horizon Film Club! 
A space for horror and sci-fi fans in Northern Virginia and DC, exploring the darkest corners of cinema—where horror and sci-fi collide.
We’re just a bunch of film buffs and indie creators who love grabbing drinks and watching movies—from Hitchcock to Kubrick, Carpenter to Cameron, Lovecraft to Craven—and from Star-Trek to Blade Runner. And let’s not forget all those B-movies, spooky road-trips and festivals!

We’re also connected to the buzzing, hyper-active horror and sci-fi community The Hideout Film Club in London, as well as Movie Roadhouse London. We meet up, share our passion, rave (or rant!) about films on Letterboxd, and dive into cult classics and hidden gems.

Whether it’s film chats or casual hangouts, we’re building this together as the club grows.
