Thought Form #2

From Thought Form

A one-day immersion in Neuro-Somatic breathwork, intuitive sculpture and nature. **[Thought Form](https://www.mayerpavilion.com/workshops)**[ ](https://www.mayerpavilion.com/workshops)is a one-day immersion in **Neuro-somatic breathwork™**, **intuitive sculpture, contact improvisation** and **nature**. Sunday\, 30 August \| 11:00–18:00 For those who spend most of their lives in their minds and want to reconnect with **body** **touch** **intuition** and **presence**. Check the project --> https://www.mayerpavilion.com/workshops Some transitions cannot be solved by thinking harder. Through guided breathwork, intuitive sculpture and immersion in nature, this one-day experience helps you give physical form to what is asking to change. You will not learn how to sculpt. You will use form as a way of listening. You will not attend a breathwork workshop. You will create the internal conditions for transformation, leaving with a ritual you can return to long after the workshop ends. **Designed for** people who use their minds professionally, writers, founders, strategists, and creative professionals, this experience is especially relevant for those navigating identity shifts, career transitions or periods of uncertainty. It offers a temporary departure from screens, productivity, and over-identification with thought, inviting a return to what is essential: breath, touch, sensation, intuition, relation, and presence. Throughout the day, individual exploration becomes collective experience. Personal processes are mirrored, witnessed, and held within the group, creating a rare space where inner transformation can become tangible. **This workshop will help you in giving physical form to what wants to emerge and transition from mental overthinking to embodied clarity.** Website: https://www.mayerpavilion.com/workshops THE SPACE A wooden house at the forest’s edge. A place where the city begins to dissolve. The space is in Schöneiche, directly bordering Berlin’s forest landscapes, the house offers a rare atmosphere of intimacy and calm, designed for slowing down, sensing NEURO-SOMATIC BREATHWORK™ is an immersive breathing practice that works with the body, nervous system, and subconscious mind. Through the use of different layers of breathing patterns, live sound and guidance the technique accesses cellular memory and helps mobilize stored emotional energy, release trauma and accumulated stress held in the body's tissues. This process can lead to an expanded state of awareness offering access to inner intuition. Within a safe container, unconscious patterns and inner conflicts can be explored with presence and neutrality creating space for emotional release, new insight, and new ways of relating to oneself. **THE DAY** **ACT I** **11:00** Arrival. Tea, check-in, intention and bodyscan. **ACT II** **12:00** Dissolution. Neuro-Somatic Breathwork, Intuitive movement and nervous system regulation. *What am I holding onto?* **ACT III** **13:00** Emergence. Contact improvisation. Intuitive clay sculpture. No sketches. No planning Just hands. Session accompanied by Sound bath. **14:30** Shared lunch. A vegetarian meal is provided and included in the workshop. **ACT IV** **15:00** Exploration. Symphony of Colors: Paul Signac — Brunch, Lecture & Museum Visit

Symphony of Colors: Paul Signac — Brunch, Lecture & Museum Visit

Wed, Aug 26, 9:30 AM
From Berlin Ladies Art Club
4.8

Join us for a full cultural day out in Potsdam — a guided visit to the brand new Signac exhibition at Museum Barberini, paired with an art lecture and brunch. Museum Barberini has just opened Symphony of Colors: Paul Signac and Neo-Impressionism — an exhibition tracing Signac's journey from early waterside landscapes to his sun-drenched visions of the Côte d'Azur. Around thirty works by Signac are shown alongside paintings by Seurat, Pissarro, Cross, and others, with loans from the Musée d'Orsay, the Van Gogh Museum, the Art Institute of Chicago, and more. Before we visit the exhibition, we'll start with brunch and a short art lecture where I'll introduce Signac, his friendship with Seurat, and how they invented a completely new way of painting — building images from pure colour, dot by dot. 📋 Agenda 🥐 Brunch together 🎨 Art lecture: Signac, Seurat, and the birth of Neo-Impressionism 🖼️ Museum visit: Symphony of Colors exhibition + the permanent Impressionist collection (including 40 Monets) 📅 Date & Time: Wednesday 26.08 · 11:30 📍 Location: The exact location of the brunch place will be announced 24 hours before the event 💶 Participation Fee: 15 EUR(museum entry not included — tickets available at the museum) 📌 RSVP required — intimate group, spots are limited. To keep the group intimate and allow for conversation, spaces are limited. Please cancel if you can't attend so someone else may join. ⏰ Respect & Punctuality: Please arrive on time and be mindful of the group. ✅ Event Info & FAQ 🕐 How long will it last? The full experience runs approximately 3–3.5 hours, including brunch, lecture, and museum visit. 💶 Payment — How do I pay? Your spot is secured with an advance payment — I'll send you a payment link privately once you RSVP. Museum entry is paid separately at the museum. If your plans change, please update your status to "Not Going" so someone on the waiting list can take your spot 🙏 🚆 How do I get there? Museum Barberini is in Potsdam, about 30-40 minutes from Berlin by S-Bahn or regional train. 🥐 Can I join only for brunch or only for the museum? No — it's one full shared experience. ❗ What if I show up without signing up? Unfortunately a spot can't be guaranteed. Only confirmed RSVPs are accepted. ✨ Meet Yuliya, the founder of Berlin Ladies Art Culture — a growing community of over 2,000 women passionate about art, culture, and meaningful connection. With a background bridging hospitality, real estate, and creative studies, she has lived in Ukraine, France, China, and now Berlin. Over the years, she has expanded her passion for art through diverse studies and experiences — from the Louvre School in Paris to the University of the Arts London, from workshops at the Universität der Künste in Berlin to curatorial programs during the Venice Biennale — and most recently completed studies at Sotheby's Institute of Art in London. Today, she curates experiences that blend art history, conversation, and exploration — always with the goal of making culture feel alive, shared, and inspiring.

Saffron Vodka - Standup Comedy by a Persian and a Pole

Saffron Vodka - Standup Comedy by a Persian and a Pole

Thu, Aug 27, 6:30 PM
From Berlin Comedy in English
4.5

**Come on out for a hilarious night of Standup Comedy in English, with Persian comedian Kourosh KJ and Polish/American comedian Maya Upchurch** **Come on out for a hilarious night of Standup Comedy in English! Persian comedian Kourosh KJ and Polish/American comedian Maya Upchurch will join forces to deliver you an unforgettable night full of laughter. Expect quick-witted, clever jokes, with a healthy dose of silliness and an even healthier dose of energy. Kourosh and Maya have 5+ years of experience performing in Berlin, and over that time the two may or may not have become a little closer than just friends. Feel free to come up to them after the show and tell them which one you think was funnier so they can argue about it later.** **When? 30th July, doors 8pm show 8:30pm** **Where? SaliGari Bar Berlin** **Tickets? 10,50 euro online, student and group discounts available, 15 euro on the door** **Learn more about the comics:** **Kourosh Kj is an established comedian on Europe’s stand-up circuit. Originally from Iran and based in Berlin, he is Berlin’s first Persian stand-up comedian performing in English. He has become a familiar face across the continent, performing at festivals including Fusion Festival and Feel Festival, as well as renowned comedy clubs such as Top Secret Comedy Club in London. He regularly headlines shows in Berlin and has shared the stage with international acts including Max Amini, Ahmed Ahmed, Neema Naz, and more.** **His style is smart, silly, and rooted in sharp cultural observations with a touch of playful absurdity. Kourosh challenges expectations of what a “Middle Eastern” comedian should be, delivering thoughtful material without taking himself too seriously. He is widely regarded as one of Berlin’s standout comedians.** **Maya Upchurch is ranty, wild, morally-corrupt. Inspired by the likes of Bill Hicks, Sam Kinison and Joan Rivers, she's a high-energy force of Gen-Z nature who lacks the ability to speak of anything other than exactly what's on her mind. Based out of Berlin, she's got a truckload of tales from the European capital of hedonism and her Polish/American background means she really knows how to take a shot.** **While Maya most certainly will make fun of everyone and everything on her path, her favorite person to roast is undoubtedly herself. Bringing light to her time-wasting habits, irrational anxieties, and dependence on technology, she believes that "punching-up" is best done when it’s an upper-cut to yourself.** **Maya started doing standup in 2020, shortly after her first set there was lockdown because China was scared of her power. Since then she's done shows all around Europe, was a featured in The New York Times, performed with Don't Tell Comedy, opened for the likes of Ashley Gavin, Todd Barry and April Macie and did all sorts of other really cool and exciting stuff.** **Please get tickets here: https://fienta.com/saffron-vodka-standup-comedy-with-a-persian-and-pole-195846**
