PROSECUTION - German FF @ Palace Central
Wed, May 27, 10:15 AM***PROSECUTION - German FF @ Palace Central - - -*** Prosecution is an engrossing tale of good versus evil that cleverly combines legal drama and thriller for a powerful and urgent story about the realities of Germany’s judicial system. With all the resources and authority of the state behind her, self-assured young German-Korean prosecutor Seyo Kim (Chen Emilie Yan) is determined to confront far-right violence in eastern Germany. But when she becomes a target, surviving a racist attack, Seyo decides to investigate on her own, defying explicit orders from her superiors and putting her life further at risk. When she finally succeeds in bringing one of the attackers to trial, she fights to expose him as part of a wider right-wing network, digging deep into her office’s archives and weaving a tangled web of connections. But throughout the trial, Seyo begins to learn what it means to trust the pursuit of justice in a state that applies double standards and downplays far-right violence, as the system’s myth of objectivity begins to crumble. The movie starts at 8.45 pm so I will meet you about 20 mins before. Please only RSVP ATTEND if you are certain you will be there. Tickets can be bought on the night at the box office or online below. I have seat F7. **[https://www.palacecinemas.com.au/movies/ger26-prosecution](https://www.palacecinemas.com.au/movies/ger26-prosecution)** Any questions please put a message in the comments below or if on the day text me on 0498826506 Ta Maggy

WEDNESDAY 1PM START TEACH FOR FREE WE WILL BE RACING FOR FUN
Wed, May 20, 3:00 AM**MY AIM IS TOO PASS ON YEARS OF EXPIERIENCE** LOOKING FOR ONGOING CREW WE WONT BE SIGHT SEEING ALL YOU NEED IS A KEENESS TO LEARN THE REST CAN BE TAUGHT. SOME YEARS AGO A DUTCH GIRL ARRIVED IN AUSTRALIA HAD NEVER BEEN SAILING THROUGH SAILING SHE NOW OWNS A LARGE CRUISING YACHT WITH HER PARTENER WHO SHE MET WHILST RETURNING FROM HER OWN SYDNEY TO HOBART AND THEY SAIL THE WORLD IN ANTHER A CHINESE LADY WHO HAD RECENTLY ARRIVED IN AUSTRALIA HAD NEVER SAILED BECAUSE SHE WAS SUPER KEEN WE CAME 1ST BOTH SUMMER AND WINTER SERIES SHE HAS RECENTLY ACCEPTED THE ROLE OF FOREDECK ON A VERY LARGE INTERNATIONAL RACING YACHT All you need is a keenness to be taught many of my crew have started as complete novices Over the many years I have sailed, many new crew members have started on Wednesdays after arriving here from overseas or do shift work and get Wednesday afternoon off . All have become great friends sometimes ending up owning their own yachts and even doing their own Sydney to Hobarts. As long as you have a love of all things on the water, on-board training will be given to good people. **FINALLY, I NEED TO POINT OUT A FEW THINGS FOR SAFETY REASONS** 1. Wear clothes suitable for sailing – MOST IMPORTANT – rubber, soft-soled shoes with good grip. NO THONGS OR BARE FEET! 2. If you have long hair, TIE IT UP 3. Glasses and hats need to be tied with cord or similar – I’ve seen so many disappear overboard. 4. If you have sailing or gym gloves, bring them to protect hands from rope burn. 5. Strong advice - please remove rings from fingers, and super-long nails really hurt when bent or caught.
