Vamos a ver la exposición del fotógrafo y artista Ed Templeton que se celebra en la Sala Metrònom, un espacio que formó parte activa del desarrollo de la cultura barcelonesa a partir de la década de 1980. Ed Templeton (California, 1972) fue, antes que nada, un destacado *skater* profesional que, a partir de 1993, comenzó a fotografiar su entorno hasta convertirse en uno de los más emblemáticos cronistas -y creadores de imagen- de la subcultura del *skateboard.* La exposición, titulada *Tomorrow Never Comes* (“el mañana nunca llega”), es la primera muestra individual de este artista en nuestro entorno y en ella se exhibe, por una parte, una selección de su trabajo documental creado a lo largo del tiempo y, por otra, algunas imágenes concebidas para campañas publicitarias de marcas que han encontrado en esta subcultura juvenil un espléndido nicho de negocio. Todo ello hace pues que el interés de esta exposición resida en el modo en que se unen, y a la vez se confrontan, aspectos como la biografía autoconstruida de los artistas, la fotografía como documento, las subculturas urbanas, la economía de la moda y la cultura visual contemporánea. - Actividad gratuita
