Creative Block Lab . Small artist cohort in Berlin (limited spots) Hi everyone, I’m a filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist currently based in Berlin, and I’m starting a small in-person cohort for artists who feel stuck, blocked, or disconnected from their work. Over the past years, while making my last film, I went through a long and difficult creative block. In that process, I began researching the emotional and psychological patterns that stop artists from creating. I call them creative monsters, forces like perfectionism, comparison, fear, shame, or paralysis. Creative Block Lab is a small, intimate space where we explore those patterns together and slowly reconnect with the impulse to make honest, authentic art. This is not a technical workshop and not a productivity bootcamp. It’s a reflective, human-centered space for artists of any medium. Format This is a 3-session cohort (same group each time), designed to build trust and continuity. Each session (1.5–2 hours) includes: • Short introductions and check-in • A guided reflection on one or two creative “monsters” • Practical tools or small mindset shifts • A 30-minute creation exercise (you can bring something you’re already working on, or just experiment with simple materials provided) • Group sharing and integration The intention is to: • reconnect with your artistic voice • reduce the pressure to be perfect • create in a supportive, non-judgmental space • leave with practical tools you can use in your daily practice Who it’s for Artists of any discipline: • visual arts • writing • music • performance • film • or any experimental/undefined practice No experience level required. What matters most is honesty and willingness to explore. Important note Because the group is intentionally small (around 10 people), there’s a short application form. This isn’t about selection based on skill or prestige, it’s just to keep the group size intimate and make sure the space feels right for everyone. There are only a few spots left for this first cohort. Relax, Flow & Create: Yoga + Mandala Session

Relax, Flow & Create: Yoga + Mandala Session

Sun, Feb 22, 3:00 PM
From The VinYoga Flow

Two hours. Two practices. One intention: slowing down and being present. Join us for a gentle afternoon of mindful movement and creative meditation. We'll start with an hour of relaxing yoga flow to release tension, calm the mind, and settle into your body. Then we'll transition to the second hour where you'll explore mandala drawing—a meditative practice of creating recurring patterns that quiet the mental chatter and bring you into a state of focus and calm. No artistic skills required. Mandala drawing isn't about making something perfect—it's about the rhythm of the process, the repetition, and letting your mind rest while your hands move. It's meditation with a pen. This session is perfect if you're looking to unwind, reset, and give yourself some screen-free, slow-paced self-care time. All levels welcome for both yoga and drawing. We'll provide the materials for the mandala session. **When:** Sunday, February 22nd, 4:00–6:00 PM **Where:** Studio Mo, Naunynstraße 55, 10999 Berlin Leave your week behind and sink into something slow. See you there!

From Purls and Pints 🍻

**English** Grab your needles, your current project, and come knit with us 🍻🧶 This is a relaxed Saturday social knitting meetup in a local pub—perfect for anyone who enjoys knitting in good company. All skill levels are welcome, from absolute beginners to seasoned pros, but this isn’t a teaching workshop. Think more chatting, laughing, and stitching together than structured instruction. Bring along your own knitting materials, order a drink if you like, and settle in for an easygoing evening of craft and conversation. Whether you want to make progress on a project or just enjoy the vibe, you’re very welcome here.
