Atlassian Takeover 2026

Atlassian Takeover 2026

Tue, Mar 3, 7:00 AM
From SydJS
4.7

Atlassian are continuing their association with SydJS for another superb year, and you get the rewards. Each month Atlassian provides the venue, drinks, and pizza we enjoy at our meetings. And one month a year they go above and beyond and also provide us with an insight to the teams, the code, and the company. To keep the tradition going we’re clearing the runway and making room in March to hear from their team. And their team will be fresh from Atlassian’s own EngFest, their twice yearly local, internal conference. We’ve got our sights on an international speaker and they’ll be backed up by two of Sydney’s own: Shrey Somaiya will show us how static analysis can reduce your workload from weeks to seconds. Coby Plain will reveal “Good Developer Habits” that are bad at Atlassian scale. And stay tuned for news on our guest speaker It’s set to be a GREAT night!

Free Meditation Homebush West

Free Meditation Homebush West

Mon, Feb 23, 8:30 AM
From Free Meditation Homebush West

During this week's class we find out more about this energy that lies at the base of our spine, known as the kundalini. We also learn how to develop our vibrational awareness so that we can feel the state of our chakras and clear and strengthen their qualities. During the one hour session we have guided meditations, music, videos from the founder of Sahaja Yoga, Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi and time for questions at the end. When we meditate collectively, it deepens our experience, taking us into a state of thoughtless awareness where we can experience the qualities of our spirit; peace, joy, love, silence. There is no need to bring anything and chairs are available. We are located in Melville Hall within the Homebush West Community Centre. Classes are always free. If you have any questions, please call Jenny on 0425324265
