Product London with Lebara.

Hello All, Hope you're all well and have been enjoying the sunshine! Product London returns on 16th September from 5.30pm, this time hosted by Lebara! **Address**: 5th Floor, Broadwalk House, 5 Appold St, London EC2A 2DA Three talks across the evening: **Talk 1**: **Chris Miles** (Group Head of Conversational Products at Lebara) with '**The AI Product Playbook**' **Synopsis**: Most AI products chase the technology first and the customer problem second. This talk offers five practical principles for building AI products people actually use, drawn from lived experience. **Talk 2**: **Lee Cross** (Growth Advisor - Lebara Travel eSIM ) with '**The Product Delivery Trap - Why product teams become delivery machines instead of growth engines - and how to escape**' **Synopsis**: Too often, product teams quietly become delivery machines and focus becomes shipping features, closing tickets, hitting sprint goals, while the business stops growing. It's the most expensive mistake in product, and the current rush to merge product into engineering is making it worse. This talk will make the case that product is, and always has been a commercial discipline, not a technical one. Its job is to find where the growth is, prove it, and drive a business toward it. Drawn from launching and scaling real businesses, it's a challenge to how most teams are being run - and a practical way out of the trap. **Talk 3**: **Nora Bereczkei** (Director & Tribe Lead, Platform Foundations at Gousto) with '**Platform Product Management: Same Craft, Different Users: Discovering, Building and Launching Internal Products and Platforms**' **Synopsis**: Platform product management uses the same craft as any other product role: real discovery, hard prioritisation calls, and a launch that earns its audience. The difference comes down to who that audience is, nothing more. There is no paying customer and no revenue signal, only internal teams deciding whether to trust what you built. Get the fundamentals right, and the leverage compounds, because every team downstream inherits the win without repeating any of the work themselves. This talk sets out a simple rule for that gap: ask the team directly, rather than guess what they need, and measure success by what the rest of the organisation can now do because the platform exists. Expect a practical walkthrough of discovery, build and launch for internal platforms, plus the handful of ways the job differs from building for an external customer. Pizza and Refreshments will be provided! Looking forward to see you there! Alex
