**This Film Collective was started by award-winning actor and director Brandon Hammond.** This group is designed to bring together creatives who are serious about filmmaking and want to start creating content without having to wait to be green lit. In anticipation of AX 26 in July, we are doing a cosplay theme meetup to get ready! In this special Meetup, we will be joined by Kai, a cosplay veteran who has been active cosplay/con community for years. She will be sharing her experiences and lessons learned in cosplay. Any level of cosplay experience is welcomed. Come with questions, in cosplay, or just listen because you are curious about the cosplay culture! We are hosting our first annual Book Crawl event in Pasadena on Sunday May 17th in Pasadena starting at 11 am till roughly 2pm. We will be visiting several bookstores in Pasadena: * Vroman's * Book Alley * The Open Book * Octavia's Bookshelf * DYM - Books & Boba It's an opportunity to celebrate local books shops, get your steps in, get nerdy about books and make some new friends. Along the way we will make time stop for coffee, boba and other sweet treats. One of our book club members has offered his house as a starting point so that location will be provided to those individuals who RSVP to this event.

The Hollywood Sculpture Garden is really a neat place . . . AND WE GET TO VISIT AND HAVE A DAYTIME COFFEE SOCIAL THERE!!! It's located on private property and not normally open to the public. So it is indeed a special thing for us to go.
