We are a community of **artists, thinkers, technicians, and curious minds** from all walks of life exploring how technology can serve human flourishing in 2026! Whether if you're an AI enthusiast or skeptic, a creative professional or someone just beginning to navigate our rapidly changing world, this group is for you! The conversations we have at our **“support group for the technological singularity”** are designed to meet everyone at their level of understanding - no technical background required, just an open mind and genuine curiosity about our collective future. How do we preserve community, creativity, connection, and purpose in this new age? Our focus for 2026 is to build out our community into somewhere between a participatory lab, an art salon and a social group. So we will be talking about and experimenting with LLMs, vibe coding and AI generated imagery and sound. We discuss the ethical and cultural implications of this new powerful set of tools as well as trade tips, discuss use cases and share workflows for getting the most out of this new era. We are also open to discussing anything relating to technology, culture, and the arts. Our meetings have a super casual and open atmosphere where all are welcome to contribute. Students will learn to observe and record the human head in clay using sight sizing and comparative measuring techniques to build a head from profile to fully rendered face, neck and base. Techniques like the following will be applied: \- Learning how to draw in space \- take notes on the sculpture itself \- and get comfortable with the medium on a basic level in order to form a strong foundation from which to build upon\. This class will teach students how to quickly and efficiently construct a portrait bust in clay with the possibility of casting it in Plaster, Resin or even bronze for those willing. Supply List coming soon! **What You'll Learn:** * How to apply drawing techniques usually used for drawing on two dimensional surfaces to three dimensional constructs. * A step by step approach to building a clay head, eliminating a constant “build and tear down” approach that may slow or bog down the process. * Basic anatomy of the skull and human head shape to help know what to look for and why. * “Proper” understanding of clay tools, what each shape and material is best used for and how to take advantage of your toolkit. * Learning to edit information: finding creative and stylistic choices to bring a finished bust to the next level. * A breakdown of casting techniques and materials needed. * How to make plaster and Silicone molds
