You'll collaborate, network, and walk out of each session with a demo of your own. Here, we work on music and create meaningful connections to artists across genres and skillsets. **We cannot accept those who come unannounced without a ticket unfortunately due to the space constraints.** The cost per person for the session (8 Hours) will be $35 hosted @ Pirate Studios w/ max 3-4 per room. Noche de los Muertos @ Hollywood Forever Cemetery-We have our own altar to point

(read below) This is the biggest, baddest Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) festival in Los Angeles, if not all of California. It's a humorous way of dealing with the reality of death, which is after all a part of life. If all that sounds a little grim, I have been to this event in the past and found it to be one of the biggest, liveliest parties I have ever seen! There will be lots of dancing: Aztec dancing, folkloric dancing, and more. Families set up ofrendas (altars) to welcome back the dead; this year there will be over 100 of them and the best decorated win prizes. You can get your face painted (for a fee) like a calaca (skull), or come with your face already painted if you wish. Come in your best Dia de los Muertos costume; the best costume can win $1500! There are art exhibits and photo exhibits and stunning light exhibits. AND There will be five stages featuring primo entertainment until close to midnight. Along with food and beverage vendors and lounges in which to enjoy their wares. This time we’re heading to **Nandao Rice & Noodle**, a newer Monterey Park spot specializing in Singaporean-style Hainan chicken rice, noodles, wontons and a few things that sound suspiciously like we’re going to order way too much food. Their **Hainan chicken rice** is the headliner: tender poached chicken, savory rice and three sauces that give you plenty of opportunity to pretend you know exactly which combination is correct. The braised beef noodle soup, spicy pork-and-shrimp wontons and chicken lime cold noodles have also been getting a lot of attention. The *LA Times* recently went so far as to call Nandao one of its favorite SGV spots right now. LUNCHTIME FIRE WORKSHOP SURVIVAL, BUSHCRAFT, SELF-RELIANCE! Primitive skills are very popular, and the ability to make fire without matches is at the top of the list. We will practice a few of the primitive methods of fire-starting methods, and you will learn some of the secrets that come from years of experience. You will get to practice the bow drill, the hand drill, flint and steel, and more. We will also go for a short walk (if time) so you can see the types of woods that are best for making fire, and the tinders that are best for getting your fire to light. And enjoyable gathering.
