Let's get together for an evening of Scrabble and / or Backgammon, as well as a chance to meet in person and socialize, at Bodega Wine Bar in Santa Monica. The atmosphere is cool, wines and mocktails are good and the tapas ideal for an evening meal or snack. We can meet by the bar then decide on an outdoor or indoor table.

Backgammon Club of Encino

Meets every Sunday from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m at the Encino Courtyard : 17401 Ventura Boulevard, Encino 91316 The Courtyard is at street level. There is plenty of free parking in the back lot or on Ventura Blvd. You can see us playing next to Western Bagel and Planet Fitness. All levels of players are welcome. Game Night: Blood on the Clocktower

Come hang out and play *Blood on the Clocktower*, a super fun social deduction game full of bluffing, guessing, and a little bit of chaos. **About Blood on the Clocktower** This is a social deduction game where \*everyone\* gets a secret role—some players are trying to solve the mystery, while others are secretly working against the group. You’ll be chatting, accusing, defending yourself, and trying to figure out who’s telling the truth (and who’s definitely not). Even if you get “killed,” you’re still in the game and part of the action -- you win or lose with your team at the end of the game. It’s easy to pick up, really engaging, and a great way to meet people or just have a memorable night. **Beginners and Veterans Welcome** Whether you've never played before, or are looking to play some more complex characters and scripts, we'd love to have you. Just show up ready to play and have fun. **Cost** Admission is $10, paid at the door, and includes pizza, drinks, and various other snacks. Studious Coworking graciously maintains and provides this event space and does a lot of the heavy lifting in creating third spaces and building community. Your admission fee helps them continue to provide space for community events like this. **Conduct** This is a respectful space for everyone. Please refrain from making unwelcome personal advances. Additionally, please remember that while bluffing and lying is a core part of Blood on the Clocktower, emotional abuse or coercion is not. Downey Library Game Day

Come play board games and card games with us at the Downey Library. We welcome starting players all the way to expert players. Please bring a copy of the games you would like to play, or we have copies to play. The Downey Public Library also has a collection of games to play. Some examples of popular board games are Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Catan, and Terraforming Mars. Some examples of popular card games are Flip 7, Century Spice Road, and Splendor. We like to learn new games and to teach new games. There is no fee, and food and drink is welcome, just please clean up after yourself. We are in the area, to the left of the main entrance. Join the Los Angeles Ultimate Werewolf Game Meetup Group for a fun-filled evening of social deduction games! Ultimate Werewolf is an interactive game (part card game/part board game-similar to Mafia if you’ve ever played that) of deduction for two teams: the village team and the wolf team. Players on the village team don't know who the wolves are, and the wolves are trying to remain undiscovered while they slowly eliminate players on the village team one at a time. Each player receives a card with their role at the beginning. If it sounds confusing, everything will be walked through at the beginning. Whether you're a seasoned werewolf player or completely new to the game, this event is perfect for making new friends and testing your wits against others in a thrilling game of deception. Bring your best strategies and alliances as you navigate through the hidden identities and attempt to uncover the werewolves among us.
