You don't need perfect English. We have people from all over the world and everyone starts somewhere. Come as you are and we'll make it work. **But GTA VI is out...** I know. Tough competition. If you need a small break from gaming and want to meet some real people for a couple of hours, we'd love to have you. Last time we were competing against a major event in Sydney and people still showed up. **What if it rains?** No worries. Slip Inn has indoor and outdoor areas, and we'll meet indoors. Monday Board Games!

Where: We can be found in the dining area to the left of the entrance, behind the bar. Make sure to come in and say hi when you get there! Everyone is super friendly and can point you towards a moderator if you are new. When: From 6:30 pm till 10:30 pm every Monday Ages: 18+ Price: $6 to be paid by card We are a relaxed group of gamers who meet to play a few games and have a laugh. Mondays are a time to play any game you feel like. We are a friendly community and new people are welcome all the time! If you don't have a game to play then there is sure to be someone available to teach you. Make sure to go up to a table and introduce yourself, we are all really friendly. Looking forward to seeing you all at an event soon! **Venue Support Policy** Our board game nights are hosted by a food and drink venue that generously provides us with space each week and allows us to store our games. In return, we have an agreement to support the venue by purchasing food and drinks on site. To respect this agreement and ensure we can continue using the space, **outside food and drink are strictly not permitted at our events**. We ask all participants to please support the venue instead when attending. Thank you for helping us maintain a positive relationship with the venue and keep the group running.

Hello, Join us for games at the Glenroy Hotel. People start drifting in from about 5ish with the official start at 6.30pm. Feel free to host your own game of join in on one of ours. Theres parking at the back of the pub down Retreat St.If you are lost give us a call on 0423 807 400. The event is free, however we encourage grabbing a drink and or meal to support the venue. We play a wide variety of games from the short easy fillers to moderate complexity strategy games. And we are happy to teach.

Friday Night Games!

Every Friday, 7pm, Boards games, people! Come experience the great fun and excitement of board, card and other tabletop games with a diverse group of friendly people. We typically have 10-30 players each week and have been running strong since 2022. We usually suggest $5 for attendance (first time is free!) that goes towards managing the group, stocking our vast library of games and organising extra events with feasts, birthdays and celebrations! Feel free to bring your friends, family, lovers or anyone else you think deserves your wrath in a game of Settlers of Catan, Splendor, Coup, Codenames, Dixit, Ticket to Ride, whatever! We're sure they did something to warrant it! See you there!

Ticket to Ryde

Gaming Meetups Ticket to Ryde (T2R) holds an open, social tabletop gaming meetup on Wednesdays, from 6:30pm until late. This includes all sorts of board games, card games, dice games, etc. (see the Games We Play section below for more details). We typically meet at the West Ryde Hotel (corner Victoria Road, Chatham Road & Dickson Lane). You'll find us hanging out in the Function Room, affectionately referred to as the Fish Bowl. If you enter from Dickson Lane, walk up the steps to the beer garden area and we'll be immediately on your right. On occasion, we may be forced to meet at another venue, so double check the forums on our Board Game Geek (BGG) webpage for the latest. Everyone is welcome. Minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. The hotel's function room and amenities are ambulant disability accessible, however, please be aware our alternate venues may not be. While there is no cost to attend, we're encouraged to support the hotel by purchasing food from the bistro and drinks from the bar. Many like to arrive early to order and eat dinner in the function room, before the gaming begins. Public transport, walking or cycling are ideal ways to travel to and from the venue. If driving, parking is available in the surrounding streets - be sure to check for any sign-posted parking restrictions. More information about the venue can be found on the West Ryde Hotel website.

Bondi Board Games - ECBG Friday Meetup

We are ECBG, the Eastern Community Boardgame Group and we meet every Friday at 7pm. Come join us to experience lots of fun with board games, card games, social deduction games and more! We're a friendly group with a diverse group of attendees and welcome everyone to participate. Feel free to come along whether you're a seasoned veteran or just want to try out the hobby. We have lots of people that bring games along and they're all happy to teach games to new players. Bring your own games if you like too, announce the game you wish to run and you'll find players within our group. If you're new, don't worry about lack of numbers in prior attendance lists, we typically have 20-35 players each week. Attendance at our meetups is free, but Easts Club do require you to sign in to enter the club so valid ID is required. Although optional, if you start to attend our free events regularly, you may wish to consider joining Easts as a member in which case there is a small per year membership fee (under $10) to Easts and comes with perks and discounts. You can inquire further on this with Easts direct as you enter the club. We generally meet in the auditorium area next to Artie's Bar on Level 1. Sometimes when there is an event on, we might be in Artie's Bar itself instead. Club staff should be able to direct you to us if you're lost. Just ask where the Free Board Gaming Group is located known as ECBG. Note there is a smaller project group that operate within Easts on a Friday night as well, that charge an attendance fee so be clear you're looking for the free community boardgames group ECBG and you'll find us.
