It's a free event and only heavy rain can stop us! Dear citizens of Neverwinter, it's time to do one of the most existing walks in a year through a beautiful Central park to see gorgeous Japanese Sakura. We are going to stroll through alleys and ponds, pass couple of bridges and creeks and end up in a Cherry Hill. This is not a loop walk. Earth Day: Phone Photo Walk at the New York Botanical Garden

Spring is Sprung so let’s celebrate Earth Day with a Phone Photo Walk at the NYBG free entrance to the Grounds on Wednesday! There is a 10:21am Train from Grand Central to the NYBG (22min train ride). Group meets at 11am by the ticket booth of the NYBG across the street from Metro North train Stop on 2950 Southern Blvd, Bronx NY. Bring your hat, snacks and water, wear supportive shoes and be prepared to walk some 4 to 5miles in search of the Magnolia and Cherry trees in bloom! Artist Trading Cards (ATC)

A fun way to share original art without the stress and time commitment from making bigger pieces, artist trading cards (ATCs) are artworks done on a 2.5 by 3.5 inch heavy paper (such as cardstock). Unlike past Meetups, the goal of this Meetup is meeting other artists and discussing our creative processes rather than drawing. Medium is not limited to drawing or painting on the cards. You can collage on the card or print your art on the card if you do digital art. For now, it is recommended to come with at least 3 cards. Happy art making!
