Mindfulness Crochet Session! 🧶

On Wednesday, October 14th let’s crochet together! 🧶 Details below: 6:30 to 8pm Location TBD (will announce by September 30th) Take a break from your phone, slow down, and connect through the simple joy of creating with your hands. All levels are welcome! Never crocheted before? I’ll teach you from the very beginning and guide you step by step. Already know how to crochet? Bring your favorite pattern or project, and I’ll help guide you through it. Or simply come as you are—no pressure, no expectations. Just crochet, conversation, and a peaceful moment to be present and connect with others through crafts. What to bring: Please bring your own crochet supplies if you have them. I’ll have some yarn and crochet hooks available for you to use, but it’s always best to bring a yarn you love and enjoy working with. Any yarn, any brand, any color! A small pair of scissors is also recommended. No experience needed. Just bring yourself and a willingness to create. 🧶✨ Of course, please reach out if you have any questions! No experience necessary. So grab your picnic basket and enjoy wonderful paint event in Central Park! Included: a pre-sketched canvas, unlimited painting materials (brushes, acrylic paints etc.) and a take home bag. No smocks so please dress appropriately. Please bring something to sit on. We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches. These Meetups are co-ed, super laid back, and all skill levels are welcome. Jersey City Faceless First Dates at Home

**UPDATE: This gathering has been rescheduled and is now set to begin at 6:00 PM on Sun, Oct 18 (local time).** Virtual speed dating hosted on Zoom for singles in Jersey City. Engage in brief individual sessions, grouped by age, all from the comfort of your home. Simply confirm your attendance and we will contact you with the complete information. Monthly OMGNYC (Origami Meetup Group) meeting!

Every third Saturday of the month we meet to fold and learn new things. The NYPL on W 53rd ST (Across from MOMA) has generously offered their wonderful community meeting rooms for our monthly meetings! Come and fold with us every 3rd Saturdays! The meeting is free and open to people of all levels of folding! Feel free to bring books and paper to share. There will always be plenty of paper and things to learn. Everyone should also register at the library's webpage for this event to guarantee your attendance.
