All communications for this ride will be managed on this platform - keep an eye for any changes. Ready for a scenic spin through the best of the inner west? We’re heading out for a ~35km loop that features harbour views, parkland paths, and a first look at the brand-new Sydney Fish Market! Route & Highlights: Meet at the Tempe Station car park. From there, we'll cruise along the Cooks River before hitting the Greenway. Pastries & Pups: We’ll swing through the Bay Run and pull up at the dog-friendly Cafe Bones for a quick coffee and pastry fix. The Main Event: From the Glebe Foreshore, we’ll ride straight to the new Sydney Fish Market (fyi - opening on 19/1). We’re planning a full hour here so you can explore the fresh architecture and grab a snack. The Return Leg: We’ll loop back via Broadway and the Wilson St Cycleway, winding through Erskineville, Alexandria, and Mascot before finishing back at Tempe. Ride Leader: Adeline Distance: Approx. 35km Average speed: Zone 2 (18-20kmph) Terrain: Mostly flat cycleways and foreshore paths. We’re starting early to beat the crowds! The Greenway and Bay Run get "chocka" by mid-morning, and the new Fish Market is bound to be buzzing. What to Bring: BIKE LOCK (Essential for our Fish Market stop!), the Basics (helmet, water, phone, and some cash/card for treats) Check back in the comments section for any updates closer to time - all comms will be on MeetUp. A reminder that only a portion of St George BUG Rides are promoted and managed on MeetUp. Check out our full calendar of rides here: https://www.stgeorgebug.org.au/calendar
