A relaxed morning bike ride with plenty of stops to catch your breath enjoy the fabulous harbour views and coastal scenery. *This ride starts early to avoid the traffic that builds up around the beaches and harbourside suburbs throughout the day.* We'll ride (easy pace, mostly on quieter streets and shared paths) along on- and off-road cycleways and back to Bondi Junction (ETA 11.30am). **Refer to the ride route map for a more detailed description.** *The ride will go ahead in a fine drizzle but not heavy rain - please check the site on the morning of the ride for any weather-related updates!* **You must RSVP in order to attend the ride.** Please make sure you UPDATE your RSVP if you cannot make it as nobody wants to be waiting for a no-show. **Disclaimer:** *By signing up for this event you acknowledge that you are personally responsible for your own safety, and that you are participating in the event entirely at your own risk. Moore Park to Ramsgate RTN

An easy and relatively flat morning ride south through Waterloo, Alexandria, Mascot, around Sydney Airport and along the new cycle path through the Barton and Scarborough Park wetlands to Ramsgate where we stop for coffee/pastries. Much of the ride is on cycleways, otherwise along back streets, except for the first short stretch along Dacey Ave and South Dowling St. **We meet at the Dacey Avenue Bus Shelter, Kensington** (in front of the E S Marks Athletic Field) and leave from there promptly at 7:30 am. **Alternatively - meet us at 7:45 am in front of The Grounds** on the corner of Bourke Rd and Huntley St Alexandria. Medium pace (20kph av.) ETA return 10:30 am

Zetland Zigzag 3

An easy ride out to Zetland via Marrickville. Meet at Pioneers Memorial Park, Norton Street, Leichhardt, 8 30am. We will ride along the Greenway to Dulwich Hill, then to Marrickville and Zetland. Coffee, then an exploration of the area, return via Redfern. Mostly on cycleways with a few roads. Approx 35km. If the weather is too wet, the ride will be cancelled. Check Meetup for notifications. Riders must be a 2026 financial member ($10 cash on day accepted). (First time riders can trial a ride and will then be asked to join) Please be considerate to others. We are frequently over-subscribed for rides with waitlists. If you don't think you can make a ride, please cancel during the week well before the night before to give someone else a chance to ride. Jacarandas at Neutral Bay

Meet at 9.50 am for a 10 am start for this sedate approx 22 klm meander. We'll head over the Anzac Bridge, over the Harbour Bridge, onto the eastern side of Milsons Point station, down Clark Rd, right into McDougall St to experience this avenue of Jacarandas. We'll park the bikes in Milson park to take our time on foot under the purple canopy. After revelling in the luxurious lilac we'll meander along Elamanga Ave to the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron, onto Kirribilli Ave past Kirribilli and Admiralty Houses to Lady Gowrie lookout. Onto Bradfield Park, up Alfred St to Cliff & Lavender Sts, into Harbour View Cr. Park the bikes to explore Wendy Whitelys secret garden. Back over the bridge for a drink or lunch at the Lord Nelson Hotel. After a break we'll head back to the starting point at Leichhardt. Bring a helmet and tools to repair a flat tyre. Water, sunblock, Opal card if you want to bail out at Milsons Point station. Please decline asap in MeetUp if you can’t attend and stay away if feeling unwell. This will be a sedate wander. ***For Bike Leichhardt financial RIDE LEADERS only, who were unable to attend the FIRST RIDE LEADERS' WORKSHOP in August.*** **This second workshop has been scheduled for you for Saturday NOVEMBER 14, 2026.** To review the key findings of the recent member & ride leader surveys, discuss ride leadership issues & enjoy a relaxed lunch together. Arrive in 'The Studio' of the Clubhouse of Levande Cardinal Freeman Village at 9am for 9.15 am workshop start. Tea & coffee available in the room so have a cuppa while we think... The workshop wraps up around 12.15 then lunch in the cafe next door. Venue is 'The Studio', upstairs in the Clubhouse (Reception) at Levande Cardinal Freeman Village 137 Victoria St. Ashfield Walking distance from Ashfield train station. or Bus 413 from Haymarket (next to Central Railway) brings you right to the village. (REVISED date) Pastry & Pedals: Kings Cross Mkt Loop

Total: 40km We'll roll out from Tempe and navigate through Mascot to link up with the start of the Bourke Street Cycleway. From there, it's a seamless, mostly separated run all the way north through Waterloo, Redfern, and Surry Hills, dropping right down into Woolloomooloo. Once at the bay, we’ll tackle the brief but punchy climb up into Potts Point, arriving right at Fitzroy Gardens. We are parking the bikes by the El Alamein Fountain to explore the vibrant Kings Cross Saturday Market - famous for exceptional artisan baked treats, fresh pastries, and boutique sweet treats. Grab a coffee, score a top-tier pastry, and relax by the fountain for breakfast. Heading home, we’ll cruise through the heart of Kings Cross and cut up through the elegant but hilly backstreets of Paddington We’ll cross over into Moore Park to pick up the green infrastructure tracks, eventually filtering back onto the Bourke Street Cycleway for a familiar, clear run all the way south to the cars at Holbeach Avenue. Essential Checklist Helmet: Mandatory (standard Australian compliance). Spares: Bring a bike puncture repair kit, spare tube that fits your valves, and a mini-pump/CO2. Hydration & Weather: A full water bottle. While it's August, morning coastal breezes can be brisk, so a windproof layer is recommended. Payment: Card/cash for your market goodies. THIS IS A SOUTHWEST BUG EVENT. PADSTOW TO BEXLEY – 21KMS; Easy Pace, some traffic, uses off road cycle paths and on road cycleways. Starts 9.00AM Padstow Library, next to Carl Little Reserve on Memorial Drive Padstow. A local ride to Bexley Rd via Salt Pan Creek then along the M5 Linear Path through the hidden parkland next to the M5. Return using some alternate cyclepaths. Finish with coffee in Padstow. Cooks River Spinners Ride to the Sea

40 km ride along Cooks River Cycleway to Ramsgate Beach House along the beach front track from Kyeemagh, stopping for coffee, a chat and a quick bite to eat, returning through the cycleways from Leo Smith Reserve the council has recently upgraded and back to Croydon Park along the Cooks River Cycleway
