This is a social gathering of knitters, crocheters, hand spinners who come together to work on their own projects and enjoy the company of other fiber enthusiasts.** **Francisco of Art Retail Therapy has graciously agreed to host our group for its ongoing gatherings. Have a craft project that you've been meaning to finish? Have a craft project you've been meaning to start? Bring it and we'll craft together! This is an informal get-together where we can just make things with our hands while idly chatting. Let's craft, show each other our projects, get inspired, and make friends all along the way! The Art of Crafting is a small group of crafty, artistic people who have been meeting together for a few years. We've decided to host an open street event to expand our network and find likeminded people. Come join us and bring whatever you are currently working on that will make sense to work on out of doors at at table on 31st Avenue. Any and all arts and crafts are welcome, as are any level or skillset. We will have crayons and adult coloring pages for anyone who wants to join in! Outdoory drinks and indoor mini golf

Let's meet up for drinks at Puttery NYC. It is a five level bar with two floors of mini golf. We will aim for the rooftop unless it is busy and if it is, we will meet on the third floor. Even will take place between 7pm and 10pm. You can drop in at any time in between those times. We might stay later than 10 but for now 10. No need to arrive at 7 sharp. I will post on the comments sections which floor we are meeting and also my number if you can't find us. Come join us even if it's your first meetup! The more the merrier. Let's chat over drinks about past and future outdoor adventures and play some mini-golf. Picture on the event is from their Instagram account. Join us for the Leaders Launch Day, a day of connection, learning, and hands-on practice in the field. Whether you're exploring leadership for the first time, working through the Leader-in-Training process, or are already an active leader looking for a refresher, you'll spend the day learning alongside fellow AMC leaders in a supportive environment. We'll start with coffee and conversation before heading out on the trail for a field-based leadership practicum featuring realistic scenarios, group discussion, mentoring, and skill-building. We'll wrap up the day with trip planning support to help future leaders take the next step toward posting and leading an activity. By the end of the day, you'll have hands-on leadership experience and clear next steps toward leading your first AMC trip. Please bring any materials needed to document your participation and leadership sign-offs. **Route Description** We'll meet at The Bonnefont. From there, we'll explore the paths of Fort Tryon Park during an extended field session focused on outdoor leadership practice. Along the way, participants will rotate through practicing leadership roles and work through realistic outdoor leadership scenarios. The route provides a welcoming environment for new leaders while offering meaningful opportunities for experienced leaders to refine their skills through mentoring, discussion, and hands-on practice. **What to Pack** Please bring what you need to be comfortable outdoors for the day. Caven Point, NJ. Wildlife Photowalk

We are going to Caven Point natural reserve, between Port Liberty and Liberty State Park. Please note: There is no public transport available. But for those arriving by car there is parking. Parking is free and so is the entrance to the park. Caven Point is an ecologically unique area; habitat for many species including migrating birds. It features sandy beach, saltwater marshland, and boardwalk trail. it is one of two wetlands in NYC to have survived in its natural state. It is an important site for native birds nesting as it is positioned right on the Hudson River Estuary, serving as a critical late-fall pitstop and overwintering ground. Waterfowl usually spotted in November is the brant, mallard, horned grebe, and peregrine falcon among others. Bring waterproof boots and telephoto lenses.

**Дорогие друзья!** **День нашего Клуба** — а точнее, его **13-я годовщина ( туристическая Бар-мицва!)** — состоится строго по плану. Таки пора признать: Клуб стал совершеннолетним, и это событие нельзя просто взять и пропустить! Ждем всех **21 ноября (в субботу) в 12:00 дня** в лесу Изи Харримана. Наши путешествия продолжаются: мы так активно штурмуем оба полушария и земли южнее экватора, будто ищем там землю обетованную. За это время некоторые из нас успели стать родителями, дедушками и бабушками — причем кое-кто уже пошел на второй круг! В связи с этим мы начинаем операцию «Приручение». Зачем нам просто дети и внуки, если это готовые помощники для таскания рюкзаков? Активно вовлекаем их в наши ряды. Ждем вас со всеми вашими чадами, включая четвероногих питомцев. **Место встречи: Fingerboard Shelter** **Координаты:** 41.263270, -74.103996 *Н*е смотрите на то, что по карте приют находится всего в полумиле от дороги. Официальной парковки прямо там нет — ну кто бы сомневался! Ближайшие стоянки — **Tiorati** и **Skannatati** . Оставьте автомобили там и сделайте небольшую прогулку. **В программе праздника:** **Первые 28 добежавших** (кто раньше встал, того и тапки) получат по фужеру праздничного *bubbles*. **С вас** — самые лучшие, изысканные яства. **С меня** — «гуцульско-философское» меню. В связи с семейным положением в этот раз я ограничу себя крепкими напитками , но обязуюсь лично сварить на костре каноничный, горячий **бануш**. **Для самых стойких экстремалов:** тех, кто планирует романтическую ночевку в кемпинге с 21 на 22 ноября, убедительно просим взять палатки, правильные спальники и всё, что поможет вам не превратиться в сосульки. И, почитайте отзывы про этот шелтер! Особенно то, что пишут про местных медведей. Медведи, конечно, не волки, но тоже любят вкусно поесть, а мы не хотим, чтобы вы стали их главным блюдом. Напоминаем: матч состоится в любую погоду. **P.S.** А чтобы «на халяву» набраться ума и здоровья, захватите пожалуйста с собой по пол-галлона или галлону воды.
