Bouldering Session

Sun, Apr 26, 9:00 AM
From Urban Sports Cult
4.8

Have you always wanted to learn bouldering but never had the right company? Or are you an experienced boulderer who just wants to find boulder-buddies? If yes, this is the right event for you. We are going to meet inside "urban apes Basement Boulderstudio", close to S Anhalter Bahnhof, also not far from Potsdamer Platz. If you have never been there, you will need to sign up with them, which will take a bit of time. After that, **you can find us on the couches near the lockers (not in front of the reception), next to a red smiley**. When you enter the actual gym, enter the hall by turning left immediately - you are walking towards them. We will start warming up around 11:10, so everyone has enough time to arrive and get changed before that. ***\*\*\**** *Spots are limited, so please update your RSVP at least 24 hours in advance if you won't be joining. **NO-SHOWs ARE NOT COOL \*\*\**** We enter the gym at 11:00, if you are late, you will need to look for us inside. IMPORTANT: they only accept cards as a payment method. No cash. One day ticket will cost you 13,90 EUR (10,90 EUR if you are a student, free if Urban Sports Club). **What to bring: well, first of all, a good mood.** But you could also bring * climbing shoes if you have any. If not, you can rent them there, no worries. They cost 3,50 EUR. * a lock (for the locker). * chalk. You won't need that if you are a beginner. Renting is possible. * water. * extra clothes. It's quite chalky there and humans sweat, not the best mix, don't you think? :D Please, note: the organizer is not responsible for anything, including injuries. A basic introduction will be provided.

Sunday afternoon Climbing at Magic Mountain

Sunday afternoon Climbing at Magic Mountain

Sun, Apr 19, 2:00 PM
From Rock Climbing and Bouldering Meetup

**!If you cannot belay, please contact us on the Telegram group!** Here is our Telegram group (to be protected against bots): https://tinyurl.com/BerlinClimbingMeetup2 **Safety:** **If you cannot belay, please contact us on the Telegram group about this and we will put you in a group with experience people. That way, if you cannot belay you can still come and climb with us. We are not allowed to teach anyone how to belay or refresh someone's belaying skills. If you have not belayed in the last 6 months or more, we recommend you do not attempt it here without taking a formal refresher course first.** Join us for some Sunday afternoon climbing at Magic Mountain. We will spend the afternoon climbing - lead and top rope followed by a meal afterwards. The Plan: 4:00 - 8:00 climbing 8:00+: Potential hangout (sauna from the gym, drinks. local restaurant) depending on the mood of participants Gear: You can rent all the gear you need - shoes, chalk and a harness. Finding the group: We will either be waiting outside on the wooden chairs or hanging around reception (if the weather is bad). If you're new to the group, I'd recommend trying to arrive on time or a bit in advance. Please use the link below to join our Telegram group and send us a message if you have trouble finding us. Note: We are not a "Magic Mountain" official Meetup, the hall has its own meetups, we are an independent group with events in different halls. So don't be confused if some of the reception people don't know about the meetup or tell you it happens on another day. :) In addition, while the event is free you will need to pay the entry to the gym and the rental equipment if you don't have it. (20 to 25 euros) Telegram Group: You can also join our Telegram group using this link: https://tinyurl.com/BerlinClimbingMeetup2 Please PM me if the link stops working again.

2 EURO DONATION FEE PER PERSON IS REQUIRED (on site, in cash), to pay back the Meetup subscription fees and support my Events. READ THE DESCRIPTION WITH THE INFO (IMPORTANT). WHATSAPP LINK BELOW 📳 We take the RE1 train that arrives to Götz at 10,50 🚉😀: https://maps.app.goo.gl/c46xqArPdU4Fjtzx9 The train stops in several Berlin stations, as well as in Potsdam. I attach to the images screenshots that show the stations with the time 🚉⏱️ FYI: I get on the train in Werder Havel Once we reach Götz, we start our Hike, following this path: [https://www.komoot.com/tour/2175122193](https://www.komoot.com/tour/2175122193) Along our route there is a splendid panoramic tower 🗼 (see image attached). Bring your own food🍔 and drinks🥤, for the 15kms of Hike (we will take 2 breaks). The Hike will end reaching the station of Groß Kreuz 🙂 In Groß Kreuz one train per hour is available to come back to Berlin (minute 15 of each hour). We can spontaneously decide to stay together longer at the end, going to some bakery close to Groß Kreuz station 🥐 ☕🥐 ☕ Of course it depends how we are synchronized with the next train. People can decide if stay longer together or shorter, taking the first available train to come back. Everyone is free 🙂🙂🙂 I do not provide a "personal support" for people who do not take the indicated train. You are responsible to check for the weather and decide if come or not. Thanks for understanding. If you have to contact me, make it via Whatsapp, not here on Meetup. WHATSAPP COMMUNITY 💬 to find each other (join it, we use this group to find and synchronize us, as well as post photos) [https://docs.google.com/document/d/157uLVXObKt1a4NqqvPa09NJW-050YBwHLW-7DbOD8R8/](https://docs.google.com/document/d/157uLVXObKt1a4NqqvPa09NJW-050YBwHLW-7DbOD8R8/)

Binge Eating and Bulimia Recovery – Women Support Group in Berlin

Binge Eating and Bulimia Recovery – Women Support Group in Berlin

Wed, Apr 22, 3:00 PM
From Binge Eating and Bulimia Recovery – Support Group in Berlin
4.8

**\>\> Please note that the event's location will be sent to you once you RSVP <<** Hey, I’m Annabelle, and I’m a recovering bulimic. I struggled with bulimia for 15 years, and I’ve always wished there was a space where I could talk about it openly, without judgment, without shame, just honesty, support, and people who *get it*. People who are also on this journey. People who want to heal and figure out who they are beyond bulimia. So, I decided to create that space. **What is this group about** * A space where you can talk about your **binge eating or bulimia** without feeling judged. * A space to reconnect with yourself — the *you* that exists beyond the eating disorder. * A space for support and real connection with people who are going through (or have been through) the same thing. * A place to share your wins *and* your hard days, and be met with encouragement and support. **What to expect** * Journaling prompts, discussions, games, readings from ED-related literature, meditations, and more. * Deeper conversations — not just about the ED, but about who you are underneath it all. **Who is this for?** * **This group is open to women who are struggling with binge eating or bulimia and *want to recover.*** **What this *isn't*** * This is not therapy. I’m not a therapist and won’t be giving advice on nutrition, exercise, or anything medical. * This is not a place to talk about numbers, weight, calories, or daily food habits. * This is not a place to give unsolicited advice. If someone asks for support, great — but advice will only be shared if it’s asked for. * This is *definitely* not a space that promotes or glorifies eating disorders. **A bit about me** I’m 33, I live in Berlin, and I have a very eclectic taste in music — but I always come back to Nightwish. When I’m not reading memoirs or self-help books, you’ll usually find me looking for a new café around the city or walking in the forest or a park. Some of my favorite podcasts include *The Rich Roll Podcast*, *How I Built This*, *We Can Do Hard Things*, and *The School of Greatness.* I’m a certified life coach, and I’m passionate about guiding people to unlock their own truth and remove the mental blocks that hold them back from pursuing their purpose. Right now, I’m writing a weekly blog called *Life Beyond Bulimia*, which you can find on my Substack. **Before you sign up** The location of this group will be revealed once you RSVP. While the space is kindly provided to us for free, we are asked to contribute 1€ per person per meeting (including myself). There's an online version of this group, to see the dates and register, visit [this link. ](https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1820313028269?aff=oddtdtcreator) To make sure everyone is heard, the meetings will be limited to 10 people at a time. Can’t wait to meet you! Until then, know that you are stronger than you think. 🌹 Annabelle
