Thursday Evening Urban Hike: FiDi to North Beach

Let's do a Thursday evening spring urban hike from the Financial District over to North Beach. I am still working on the exact route but there will be hills and stairs, paths and gardens, water views and we will walk up the Lombard crooked street. We will meet at 5:30 but leave at 5:40 (grace period). The after gathering is planned at Specs https://www.specsbarsf.com/ . There will be live music from Hernandez Hide way (Balkan and Klezmer Style). **If anyone can get to Specs early to reserve tables, please let me know.** Hope to see you there! Please note: Phone help is not available for latecomers. If you are late it is very hard to catch up with us. We walk at a medium pace. Escorts or sweeps are not provided, so slower walkers should be completely prepared to finish the hike on their own if they become separated from the group, and they may want to consider bringing a friend to walk with them. 🌅 Marina Sunset Pack Walk 🐕‍🦺

Join us for sunset walk at the San Leandro Marina! The trail has uninterrupted views of the San Francisco Bay and of the skyline across the bay. **What are we doing? 🤷🏻‍♂️** We will be walking south on the Bay Trail to the San Lorenzo Creek and looping around back to Marina Park. At the loop point we will take a quick break about 15mins for a light snack and hydrate for the walk back. An option at the end of the walk is some off leash time at the dog park. There is a bathroom at the loop point but it is just a porta potty, please plan accordingly 🚻 **How long will this take? 🧭** we will be taking off for the walk at around 6:15pm This loop is about 4.5mi and would take about 2-2.5hrs depending on the groups pace ⏰️ **Where do we meet? 📍** Look for my dog and I nearby the sculpture under a tree, will post if I change meetup location 🙋🏻‍♂️ **What should I bring?** Comfortable shoes 👞 Water and snacks for yourself/dog 💧 Sun protection 🌞 We hope to see you there! 😊 ***IMPORTANT REMINDER*** This is a dog hike so please make sure to follow all local leash laws and no retractable leashes. Golden Gate Walk Club

Tired of having to wake up at the asscrack of dawn and go run just to make friends? Then Golden Gate Walking Club is for you! We meet every other Sunday at 10:30 and walk roughly 2 miles through the park to the DeYoung Museum, starting and ending at Flywheel Coffee in Haight Ashbury. Anyone and everyone is welcome as long as you bring a friendly down to earth vibe! After the walk we can get some coffee and get to know each other. Please note we will leave at 10:40AM. “Bridge to Breakfast Walk" from SF to Sausalito over the Golden Gate Bridge

**Join us on this 8-mile *Bridge to Breakfast Walk* © across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco to Sausalito! Take one of the most unique and exhilarating walks on the planet. Make friends and get in shape.** The walk starts at the St. Francis Yacht Club parking lot near Crissy Field in San Francisco, crosses the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, pauses for a "bring-your-own" picnic-style meal together in historic Fort Baker, and continues to historic and quaint Sausalito. Your return to San Francisco may be had by Golden Gate Transit Bus or by Ferry. Although we usually return to our starting point before noon, you may plan on returning no later than 1 p.m. **Your host, Lindsay Spiller** (he, him), will be wearing a Cal cap and will be standing at the far end of the parking lot next to the stone wall bordering the bay. **Information about the walk:** * **Breakfast: Walkers are advised to bring their food and beverages (water and coffee if desired) on the walk. We will stop at and use picnic tables on the Marin side on the way to Sausalito** * **Total time.** Set aside about 5-6 hours (2-3 hour walk; 1.5-hour breakfast and socializing; 30-minute Ferry ride back to SF or a bus ride back to the starting location) * **Start.** St Francis Yacht Club Entrance (99 Yacht Road, San Francisco, California) * **Meetup and Departure times.** Please plan to arrive at 6.45 AM as we leave promptly at 7:10 AM * **Return to SF.** Upon arriving in Sausalito, you can explore the town, return by Golden Gate Bus Transit, or return by Ferry. The bus fare back to the starting point is $8 and may be paid by Clipper Card or Cash.
