From there, we’ll start the beautiful **Coogee** ➜ **Bondi coastal walk** 🏖️, followed by a swim 🏊‍♂️ and dinner 🍴. **No-Shows** After 3 no-shows, you will be removed from the group because it is unfair for the group to wait for people who say they are coming and don't show up, who miss out. **We will meet at the ferry wharf exit in Bundeena at 9.00am when the ferry arrives (it leaves Cronulla at 8.30am). If you are catching the ferry, please note they do not accept Opal cards. It is strictly eftpos or cash.** **From here we will walk through the town of Bundeena to the start of the Coastal Walk Trail in the Royal National Park, where there are toilets (last ones before Wattamolla).** **Then we will follow the trail southerly to Wattamolla where we will see some lovely coastal scenery including flora, fauna, cliffs, ledges and lookouts.** **The track has a few ups/downs and crosses Marley Beach and Little Marley Beach.** **Once we reach Wattamolla, we will have lunch and return the same way we got there.** **There are no water refill points anywhere on this walk. The tap water at Wattamolla is not fit for drinking but sometimes, the National Park rangers will provide drinkable water. ⚠️ FOR YOUR SAFETY & ENJOYMENT, PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION BELOW FULLY BEFORE YOU CLICK ‘Attend’! ******************************************** 🗓 DATE: Sunday, 22 March 2026. ⏰ MEETING TIME: 9.50am. 🚊 MEETING POINT: (start & finish) Cronulla station at the main entry/exit. ******************************************** 📸 WHAT TO EXPECT: 🚶🏻 This is a family friendly chillaxing day out on an easy trails with few gentle ups and downs hills. 👟 Mostly paved paths with stunning view of the coastline that follows the shoreline of the peninsula, taking in several ocean rock pools, playgrounds, beaches and impressive real estate. 🚶🏼‍♀️Join us for a leisure walk through the arcade, on the footpath towards the bushland and sand dune, along the beach then onto the esplanade towards Bass and Flinders Point. Also the brand new Hungry Point Reserve and Clifftop Walk. 🦶We will walk barefoot (optional) on the beach for a short sand therapy session. Sand walking along the beach can be peaceful and relaxing, providing a perfect stress reducer. 🥪 We will then chill out for a BYO picnic lunch and a swim (optional) at Salmon Haul Bay, less crowded than the main beach area. 🚻 Toilet block at a nearby playground. 🍔 After a fun day out, we will head back to Cronulla station for a bite to eat or a drinks at one of the cafes near the promenade after approximately 11 km return walk. 🖼 You may also explore the street art - Cronulla Walk The Walls Trail and the quirky knick knack shops in the arcade before heading home. ******************************************** ⚠️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION ⚠️ 📝 TERMS & DISCLAIMER: Attending this event is voluntarily at your own risk. Tracks expected to be wet, muddy and slippery at few sections. ******************************************* 📸 WHAT TO EXPECT: 🚶‍♂️ This is an iconic must do walk from Bondi Beach to Coogee Beach along local roads, paved footpaths, boardwalks, rock cliffs, rock pools with insane coastal views passing through beautiful beaches - Tamarama, Bronte, Gordon Bay, Clovelly, Coogee and Maroubra. 🧺 We will have a byo lunch break at Coogee Beach with cafes and toilet facilities whilst enjoying the ocean view. 🏖️ After lunch, we will continue our adventure to Maroubra Beach along the coast whilst spotting wild birds along the clifftops. 🍔 You may stay as long as you wish at Maroubra Beach for a drinks or bite to eat.
