Along the way, we’ll also observe other bird species, learn about the urban environment, and talk about how wildlife adapts to life in the city. The walk is guided in English by Marcel Gerson, wildlife biologist and experienced nature guide. No prior knowledge is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to slow down and observe. 🕯️ What to expect: 🦉 High chances of encountering owls 🐦 Other birds and urban wildlife 🌳 Insights into parks, habitats, and city ecology 🚶‍♂️ Calm, respectful walking and observing 📍 Location: Meeting Point 21 Gramm Café 🎧 Please bring warm clothes and, if you have them, binoculars Let’s explore the city and look for owls together. 🦉

Politischer Diskurs - Pflege & Haushalt

From Politischer Diskurs

Exploring The Inner Commons - workshop, personal sustainability

From Sustainability Events Berlin * Projects-People-Organizations

Talk & Workshop - **Exploring The Inner Commons** a deep dive into personal sustainability by Scott Bolden, Founder of Baumhaus Berlin Workshop from 18:30 - 20:00 If you really want to make the world a better place then a great place is to start with yourself because no matter where you go or what you do, you can not escape yourself... Besides, doesn't it make sense that a truly sustainable society would be composed of more balanced individuals? **The Inner Commons is an intuitively understandable, flexible and contextual framework** developed by Scott Bolden that can be used to catalyze a process of self understanding and resolving common issues we all deal with. The concepts discussed in this workshop are based on simple, root level, universal experiences of the human condition and a bit of common sense. Because of this, insights that participants gain about themselves can also provide insights to understanding and resolving issues with others as well. Requirements: comfortable clothing, a notebook and an open mind... Please confirm participation with a short email to info@baumhausberlin.de with the subject: Inner Commons Donate-as-you-feel after the workshop (includes coffee, tea, water & snacks) We ask participants to consider: • their personal budget • the value of their experiences during the workshop in the Baumhaus • the value of supporting the Baumhaus so that we can continue facilitating these and various other types of experiences \-\-\-\-\- support Baumhaus crowdfunding campaign ( https://www.goodcrowd.org/saving-das-baumhaus ) Baumhaus Berlin Gerichtstr. 23 VH Eg 13347 Berlin

From Sustainability Events Berlin * Projects-People-Organizations

**A practical approach to understanding, creating and maintaining balance across 6 dimensions of sustainability.** A talk and workshop by Scott Bolden, co-founder of Baumhaus Berlin. What does it mean to live a sustainable life while contributing to creating a sustainable society and world? What are some practical and effective ways in our daily life to achieve these objectives in the short and long term? **PEACES is an acronym** describing six integrated areas of sustainability (**Personal, Ecologic, Aesthetic, Cultural, Economic & Social**) where we as individuals as well as organizations can have direct and positive impact on ourselves each other and the world right now. During this short workshop, Scott will explain the framework and give practical examples in the context of how the framework applies to what happens in everyday life. Participants of all levels of experience are invited to join in the conversation and also identify some practical steps that they can start taking on their path towards living a sustainable life. • Please arrive early enough to have time to explore and settle in so we can get the most out of our time together • Bring a notebook and an open mind... Workshop places are limited, please confirm participation with a short email to info@baumhausberlin.de with the subject: PEACES Donate-as-you-feel after the workshop (includes coffee, tea & snacks) We ask participants to consider: • their personal budget • the value of their experiences during the workshop in the Baumhaus • the value of supporting the Baumhaus so that we can continue facilitating these and various other types of experiences \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- support Baumhaus crowdfunding campaign ( https://www.goodcrowd.org/saving-das-baumhaus ) Baumhaus Berlin Gerichtstr. 23 VH Eg 13347 Berlin

2v2 Intermediate+ Beach Volley 💪

2v2 Intermediate+ Beach Volley 💪

Sun, Feb 22, 3:00 PM
From Berlin Beach Volleyball
4.9

Join us for intermediate and advanced play on **indoor** 2v2 courts. If you are not yet at the intermediate level (F1+) or want to play 3v3/4v4, sign up via [the simultaneous event](https://www.meetup.com/berlin-volley/events/) instead. We play with beach rules: do not use open hands for the first or last touches, do not touch the net, etc. We overbook slightly to ensure we have enough players and to allow individuals to take breaks. After playing, you can join us for socials with drinks and snacks at the bar area. It's recommended that you come 10 minutes early so you have time to change and find the fields. If it is your first time, 15 minutes might be even better. We play in domes that are heated up to at least 15C. You can join whatever court you like and move between courts during the event. We self-organize, so once you finish a game, you can start a rematch, mix with another court, or take a break as you see fit. Upon arrival, join the warmup happening on one of the courts. Join our WhatsApp community via [https://volley.berlin/WhatsApp](https://volley.berlin/WhatsApp) ([QR code](https://secure.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/b/f/d/5/highres_532249109.webp)) Follow us on Insta at [https://www.instagram.com/berlinvolleyball](https://www.instagram.com/berlinvolleyball) **Rules**: Do not join if you have an infectious disease. **Venue**: We play at BeachMitte. There are changing rooms, toilets, and hot water showers that cost 1 EUR. There are no lockers. There is a bar that sells drinks and snacks. **Payment**: You pay in advance via Meetup. Payment via PayPal or Urban Sports Club is not possible. **Refunds**: The venue does not provide refunds. Thus, we cannot refund you either, even in cases where the event is canceled due to bad weather. If you know you can't make it in advance, you can try selling your spot to someone else via WhatsApp or the comment section. You get a full refund if the event gets canceled due to poor attendance. Pictures might be taken and shared publicly, such as on Meetup or Instagram. You can opt out by letting the organizer know you do not wish to be photographed. By RSVP'ing to this event, you acknowledge and agree to the following: Participation in this volleyball event is at your own risk. The organizer is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during the event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
