At this time we will spend the Thanksgiving holidays in Copper, Silver and Golden states by visiting Grand canyon, Death Valley, Las Vegas, Sequoia park, Hollywood, and many other places. Medal Monday

Come join us at Rockaway Brewery starting at 6:30 PM to celebrate Medal Monday! If you ran the NYC Marathon (or any Fall marathon or race), please proudly wear your medal! But note that this event is not only for finishers - everyone should join if they'd like - no medal required for entry! Friends, family, canines, and children are all more than welcome. Looking forward to swapping stories and celebrating a great weekend, and a great year of running and the RUN LIC community!

Outdoory drinks and indoor mini golf

Let's meet up for drinks at Puttery NYC. It is a five level bar with two floors of mini golf. We will aim for the rooftop unless it is busy and if it is, we will meet on the third floor. Even will take place between 7pm and 10pm. You can drop in at any time in between those times. We might stay later than 10 but for now 10. No need to arrive at 7 sharp. I will post on the comments sections which floor we are meeting and also my number if you can't find us. Come join us even if it's your first meetup! The more the merrier. Let's chat over drinks about past and future outdoor adventures and play some mini-golf. Picture on the event is from their Instagram account. I will be walking starting at 6:30 from 34th on the Highline towards the bar if anyone wants to join me. Otherwise see everyone at 7 or anytime after.

Monday Speed Workout at the Mccarren Track!! The best way to start your week! tl;dr- Fire up your week with a speed workout for runners of all paces and abilities. We're excited and we hope you are too!! *** All The Details: There's only one trick to getting faster... and that is to run fast! Come join TMIRCE in Williamsburg @ the McCarren Track for a free, creative speed workout guaranteed to make you faster one step at a time. Lace up, show up! All paces welcome! You are not too slow! And yes, we run in the rain! Workouts will consist of short intervals (usually a combo of 200m to 1200m) with rest periods in between. We total \~3 miles. It's a new workout every week! Afterwards we'll head over to a local bar for some post-run refreshments. *** On Attendance: * It's informal running so RSVPs are optional. We tend to get a lot more runners than RSVPs. * There is NO secure place to store bags, valuables, etc. Please use caution and do not bring anything you cannot afford to lose. We pile our stuff together and are (relatively) nearby for the duration of the workout but no promises. We have never had a problem with theft, but that doesn't mean it can't happen. *** The Fine Print: If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, believe you may have been exposed to someone with the virus, or satisfy any other condition that would put yourself or others at risk of COVID-19 transmission please stay home.
