It’s a **self-protection pattern.** You give direction. You make a decision. And before anyone has even had a chance to process it you feel the need to add more. More context. More explanation. More reassurance. Not because you don’t have clarity. But because something underneath is driving you to protect how it’s received. *** **In this session, we’ll explore:** • How to recognize the moment explanation starts turning into justification • What drives over-explaining and defensiveness in real time • How self-protection patterns show up in leadership communication • How to create space between signal and response so you can lead with clarity *** AIM sessions are facilitated leadership conversations designed to help participants notice their patterns in real time and strengthen how they lead from within.
