A relaxed opportunity to both coach and be coached 😊 Bonny is collaborating with a range of coaches to bring coaching to **everyone**. Why? In brief: * Coaching can be life enhancing, inspiring, creative, and fun * Everyone can learn coaching skills * Having the experience of both coaching and being coached is doubly valuable * Peer-to-peer connections are special :-) **At THE COACHING CLUB, we will:** * Learn a new skill * See how it works in a short demo * Practice in pairs * Shuffle the pairs (several times) * Reflect together Bonny (and occasional co-hosts) will guide a process, but you will also receive a tiny booklet for illustration (a Zine by [LESS STRESS PRESS](https://www.instagram.com/lessstresspress)) 👀 **NOTES ON THE GENERAL ATMOSPHERE:** Although we’ll be learning new skills we'll also be aiming to have an enjoyable evening, with good humour and fun. This will be less like school and more like a thoughtful and interactive evening in a pub. **WHO SHOULD COME:** Everyone! We believe that the more perspectives, the richer the experience. Julie Henderson Russell Boyle Badminton Academy

Every week is a badminton academy for improver/intermediate/advanced standard. I also run thirteen teams that play in leagues out of the academy. Unfortunately this class does not cater for beginners! Wanting people who wish to enjoy and improve with games and advice with a coach who has played county and national level badminton, and has also played for England. Just come along, bring a racket, very friendly atmosphere! Class from 7.30 - 9.30pm weekly, £14.00 per session or £35.00 for three sessions t be paid up front and must be used within six months, payable by cash only. Day trip by coach - 1066 Battlefield, Winchelsea & Hastings! (NOW FULL)

Come along on Saturday 29th August for a coach trip to visit the 1066 battlefield, medieval Winchelsea and the fishing town of Hastings! **About the day** All three sites are in the county of East Sussex. **1066 Battlefield** The battlefield is where the most famous battle in English history took place in 1066. It is where English Saxon King Harold and William, Duke of Normandy, led their troops into battle for the crown of England. William, the Duke of Normandy won the battle and became king of England and changing the country forever. The Bayeux Tapestry which is due to go on display in the British Museum tells the story of the events before the battle, the battle itself and the crowning of William. **Winchelsea** Winchelsea is a small town on the East Sussex coast which stands on the site of a medieval town, founded in 1288. It retains its medieval setting on a hill surrounded by largely empty marsh and has one of the largest collection of medieval wine cellars in the country (when it was trading with Gascony in France). **Hastings** The town can claim fame through its connection with the Norman conquest of England in 1066 and because it became one of the medieval Cinque Ports. For centuries, it was an important fishing port and even today has the largest beach-based fishing fleet in England. The town has many medieval streets and you can get a cable car to the top of the cliffs. **Entry Cost** Entry to the battlefield is £16 per person (payable by cash or credit card on the day). The 1066 Battlefield is free for English Heritage members. 🏐Beach Volleyball Coaching Session📍Wimbledon 📶 Mixed Ability

If you are beginner, or joining the Giants for the first time, we would ask that all start with a coached session. You will have a lot more fun joining the intermediate groups, once you learn the rules! Please note that beginners can improve over time their skills and at some point get themselves to intermediate level and start joining games only sessions. A little reminder: While there are toilets available for changing at the Wimbledon Beach courts, there are no proper changing rooms or showers. We strongly recommend that everyone arrives already changed and ready to play. Please note that our Open Sessions take place in different locations throughout London. Come along on Saturday 15th August to visit two villages and a town in the Cotswolds! **About the day** The Cotswolds are a range of rolling hills in south central England about 25 miles wide and 90 miles long. The Cotswolds were declared an area of outstanding natural beauty in 1966. We will be visiting two villages and a town, all very pretty with houses made of local stone, old churches with streams and all on the edge of the surrounding countryside. **Tetbury** As one of the best-preserved and most stylish market towns in the southern Cotswolds. It started as the site of an ancient hill fort. In the middle ages, it prospered as a wool town, it is now the antiques capital of the Cotswolds with 25 specialist shops. The high street also has plenty of shops selling local produce. Just outside the town is Highgrove House, the home to King Charles III. **Castle Combe** Is a quintessentially English village which is often voted the 'prettiest village in England'. It is quite a small village, with its cluster of Cotswold Stone cottages and lack of modern buildings – no new houses have been built in the centre of the village since about 1600. The view by the river bridge is a famous picture postcard scene. It has appeared in may T.V shows and films, including the 1967 film 'Doctor Dolittle' and the 2011 film 'War Horse'. **Lacock** Is a spectacularly preserved medieval village, almost entirely owned by the National Trust. There are no overhead wires or modern store fronts, making it feel like you've stepped back in time and making it an instant movie set. It has two 600 year old pubs and a fantastic abbey, which was used in the Harry Potter films.
