During and after rainfalls would be at its best with magnificent views at the lookouts along the trails from Giant Stairway, Three Sisters at Echo Point, Katoomba Cascades and Katoomba Falls. 🚌 Upon arrival at Katoomba station, we will hit the town centre to catch a bus in front of Carrington Hotel, Katoomba Street bus stop to Scenic World bus stop. 🚶We will start our exciting adventure from Scenic World down to Katoomba Falls stopping at few lookouts with awesome views across the valley. 🚶‍♀️After photo sessions and selfies at Katoomba Falls, we’ll walk up the stairs for BYO lunch break at one of the lookouts. 🚶We’ll continue our exciting adventure towards Katoomba Cascades along few other gorgeous lookouts. 🚶‍♀️After another photo sessions and selfies, we’ll continue towards Echo Point (Three Sisters) stopping for photos and selfies at another awesome lookouts. 🚌 Our adventure ends at Echo Point bus stop for a bus back to Katoomba station. ℹ️ NOTE - you’re welcome to spend longer time at Echo Point checking out the shops, a drinks or bite to eat etc. 🚌 Your’ll make your own way to Katoomba station at your own leisure. ******************************************** ⚠️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION ⚠️ 📝 TERMS & DISCLAIMER: ℹ️ Attending this event is voluntarily at your own risk. Boasting two separate kitchens – the bistro and Lola’s Kitchen, they have happy hour between 4 pm and 6 pm every weekday. So arrive a little early to get a happy hour drink to start the night. If you feel like practicing Spanish or English, or just want to broaden your personal network over a few drinks, this would be a perfect place to do so, meet new friends, and hang out in a relaxed and casual environment. Easy: Mainly flat, suburban, loads of get out points, up to 14kms.
Easy-Medium: some stairs, a few uneven surfaces, up to 15kms.
Medium: Stairs, rocks, coastal beaches/sand, ups, downs, get out points limited, up to 17kms
Medium-Hard: uneven surfaces, need to take extreme care and be hike fit. Few get out points. Tracks, uneven surfaces, steep inclinations and limited resources. 🌸👯‍♀️🌸 WALKING GUIDELINES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 🌸✍️🌸 Carry sufficient food and water (2 litres) for the expected conditions of the walk. The ferry terminal, the corso, street markets and so much more. Join us for a morning in Manly as we endeavour to capture the essence of the place. We will meet at Wharf 4 at circular Circular Quay where we will take the ferry across to Manly and see what we can capture.

One of the Best Hikes in Australia! Classic Grand Canyon Circuit.

**If you don’t like this hike, you won’t like many others. It’s one of the best hikes anywhere in Australia!** **We will start at Blackheath Train Station (meet outside the train station on the Great Western Highway side) at 10am sharp (a train leaves Central at 7:28am from Platform 7 and arrives at Blackheath Station at 9:54am).** **From here we will follow the Popes Glen Track to Govett’s Leap Lookout, where you will see one of the most impressive views in the Blue Mountains.** **After a short break, we will follow the Cliff Top Track to the nearby waterfall with amazing views over the valley until we reach Evans Lookout where we will have lunch.** **After lunch, we will descend down the numerous steps into the cooler Grand Canyon.** **Following the Grand Canyon Track, we will pass waterfalls and tunnels (hopefully see some yabbies in the waterways), and then gradually climb through Neates Glen out to the carpark, about 200 metres higher than the canyon.** **After that, we follow the Braeside Trail up the road, finishing back at Blackheath Train Station.** **We will aim to get finish by 3.30pm, from where we can catch a train back to Katoomba or Sydney.** **\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*** **DISTANCE: About 16 km.** **GRADE: Medium, Grade 3.** **NOTE: No get-out points. Carlingford to Parramatta via The Ponds

This walk starts by catching the 630 Bus from Epping Station, Beecroft Rd, Stand F at 10:00am to Pennant Hills Rd opp Carlingford Court. From here we will follow Pond Creek, Subiaco Creek, Vineyard creek and the Parramatta River to Parramatta. Refreshments or late lunch after walk at Woolpack Hotel in Parramatta. It's a short walk from the Hotel to Parramatta Train Station. Distance: 14Km Terrain: Mainly all bush tracks Time: Around 3-4 hrs WHAT TO BRING. 2026 WHALE TRAIL: Narrabeen to "Sunday Sippers" at Bilgola Beach!!!

We looooove our Sydney trails that treat us to **secret beaches**. We love finishing our events at **secret bars you’d never find**! What about an event… a **stunning hike that finishes at a** **secret beach bar** **with a band** that starts at 4pm bringing us right into a glorious sunset? On August 30, we did this hike but from the other way… Palm Beach down to Bilgola, and let me say this… **SUNDAY SIPPERS AT BILGOLA SLSC IS ONE OF THE COOLEST LITTLE BARS IN ALL OF SYDNEY!!!** It’s RIGHT on the beach. It’s only open once a month. And the bartender said “Late September we’ll have a full band on – it will be a great Northern Beaches scene.” **This hike is beautiful. This bar is unforgettable (burger, beer pic is from Bilgola SLSC). Don’t miss this HIKE!** **THE HIKE. The 199 bus stop is there, then we'll cross the road and check out the rockpool then head into **Narrabeen Headland** which gives the most spectacular views south. Onward we go to **Turimetta Beach** (10/10 breathtaking) and **Lookout**… to the **Turimetta Headland Reserve, Warriewood Lookout & Blowhole**, **Warriewood Beach (again gorgeous), then to Mona Vale Beach (voted 6th best in the world, Conde Naste)**… North of that? **Basin Beach. Bungan Beach**.... these two are truly beautiful. We'll climb out of Bungan then head to **Newport Beach...** around the headland is **Bilgola Beach**, and we'll descend down some lovely stairs right onto the sand where **Bilgola SLSC** lies. **13.5kms in total**. Beach walk. Inclines. And all the rest. Fitness required for this one. The **B1 bus / 199 bus are our friends all day to start, get home, and even provide some outs if you want to stop hiking and meet us at the pub.** If you parked your car at the start (there is free parking but DIY research) it's super easy to bus back south. Post-pub the 199 bus is literally up the stairs from Bilgola and runs every 10minutes. We'll arrive at the pub about 320pm (330pm opens)... I get it. It's Sunday. If you want to leave? That's okay.
