Savouring dumplings at Heartling

Heartling is a small venue in Docklands offering a unique slow-dining experience centred on dumplings that look like little works of art. Diners can select from meat-based, seafood based or plant-based dumpling sets, or a combination to suit they preference. To help this small business manage our booking, they have requested we order the set menu. Join the waitlist to express interest. After the first day or so of posting, once I have names in the waitlist, I’ll send you a ‘Meetup Message’ to confirm you have a spot and how to pay. You’ll need to send me $50 to secure your place (equivalent to the cancellation fee - this will be deducted from your bill when we settle up). Once paid I’ll move you from the waitlist to ‘Attending’. As these are small group events, there are often more Fine Diners interested than there are seats available. My approach to hosting an event is to share seats around amongst members of the group in as fair a manner as I can, including mixing Fine Diners regulars with newcomers. Please be respectful if there are events when you miss out on a spot. I will always message you so you know if you have secured a seat or are still waitlisted in case a seat opens up. Please check that you don’t have your settings blocking messages; if I can’t contact you, I’ll have to move on to the next person. Also if you don’t respond to my message offering you a spot within 3 days, I’ll let you know that I’m offering the seat to another person on the waitlist.

I'm from Gujarat, and one of my favourite things is sharing the food I grew up with, so I've put this together as a casual chance to gather around a table and enjoy proper home-style Gujarati cooking together. Kathiyavadi Krunch is a family-run, 100% vegetarian restaurant serving food from the Kathiawar region of Gujarat. Kathiyavadi cooking is known for being hearty and full of flavour: lots of garlic and red chilli, smoky spices, fresh chutneys, and bread straight off the tava. It's comforting, generous, and best enjoyed family-style with a group, which is exactly what we'll do. We'll meet outside the restaurant doors at 6:45pm to say hello, get seated around 7:00pm, and settle in for dinner together. Monthly Social in the Northern Suburbs - Moon Dog - Preston

Our monthly Northern social is held at Moon Dog World in Preston. Moon Dog World is a brewery, restaurant and bar with a lagoon, waterfall, hidden tiki bar and much more! Atmosphere is on the family restaurant side (dogs and kids a plenty!) but still a fun tropical style environment. Food is better than standard pub fare with exotic flavours and generous serves. Fun for pretty much everyone, so come along and enjoy it with us. Do you live in the Northern or perhaps even the Western suburbs and are interested in catching-up with like minded people? Come along for dinner and meet some friendly people. Our group is informal and open to all. We pay for own food and drinks individually and there is no charge for the organisation of the events. It is a great opportunity to meet others with an emphasis on fun and supporting each other. So whether you choose to come at the start for dinner or later on for drinks, we hope to see you.
