DING! A meeting invite pops into your email inbox. What is your first thought?
A.) HOORAY!!! Another chance for collaboration where I can hear and expand on the creative thoughts of my colleagues!
B.) Great…another of those meetings. This will be a waste of time!
If you are like most people, all too often it’s “B”.
Research indicates that more than half of participants (57%) in any given meeting have a preferred collaboration style that is not being served. Our outcomes and organizations would be far better if all the brains and voices in any session could contribute fully. This presents a huge opportunity, if you have the awareness and skills to engage a diverse range of collaboration styles. This workshop will introduce you to the three collaboration styles. You will recognize your own style, as well as come to understand and empathize with the collaboration styles of others. Experience the power of invoking collaboration from each of the diverse styles.
