Join us for life drawing at The Old School Hall, East Farleigh. The group that join are usually around 10ish people and we switch up models throughout each week. All levels are welcome, come along even if you haven't thought of drawing before because at the very least you'll make some friends! We provide an art bank if you need materials for the evening. Parking available, coffee & tea provided. £10pp.

We have a life model in a **single pose for three hours**. Usually **the same pose is repeated the following week so that you can give six hours to your work,** remember to book the same position for both weeks. Our studio is purpose built and well equipped with easels, drawing boards, clips and so on. We sell materials at reasonable prices so if you forget anything we should be able to help you out. We have professional lighting for the models and and full spectrum lights for the studio to give you a good experience. We break for 5 minutes for the model every 25 minutes and then for twenty minutes at 11.30am to have a cup of coffee and a biscuit (small charge). Our studio has a light and friendly atmosphere. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced painter, come and paint with us! Join me for an exploration of the V&A storage in Stratford, including the Bowie exhibition. This is a very different and enjoyable museum experience where you can find artifacts displayed on shelves. You will find Victorian pieces of furniture next to Greek statues and rebuilds of 60s housing estate flats. It’s clearly designed to awaken your curiosity. We will stay at the exhibition for at least 1.5 hours, more if we want to, and then have a coffee in a very popular cafe near by afterwards. As always, please only sign up if you are intending to attend. The event is free but the usual £1.50 are a none refundable maintenance fee and meetup will also charge you £0.60. We would appreciated it if you cancelled no later than 2 days before the event and to please avoid cancelling on the day as that may get you removed from the group. We are meeting at Stratford station at 2pm and we will leave at that time. Once we are on the move you may not find us. Therefore, please be on time. It is a 30 minute slow walk from the station.

Expect an inspiring afternoon of photography, storytelling, and conversation in one of London’s most beautifully curated cultural spaces. **Afterwards, if we have a group of 4 or more, we’ll head to a nearby café, restaurant, or bar for some relaxed conversation and to continue the afternoon together.** Everyone welcome.🙂 1. We typically socialise at cafés after the exhibit, nice, independent ones, not chains and not at pubs. If the event is late on a Saturday we go to a nice bar/pub for drinks after. Once we go in we may separate, feel free to explore the exhibit by yourself, we don’t have to be together. Some people like chatting to others while exploring and other people prefer to be with their own thoughts. You are welcome to express yourself and do what feels mot comfortable. 4. Get ready to bring your sketchbook and art supplies for a chilled café sketching session! No matter your skill level lets grab a coffee and unleash our creativity into our sketchbooks. There's no formal guidance, you'll be free to get on with your own drawings/personal art projects while being able to connect with other local artists. You're welcome to join in on the group conversations or quietly get on with your art studies whatever your preference. A few basic drawing supplies (pencils, colouring pencils, erasers etc) will be provided but please bring your own sketchbook / tablet / paper / something to draw on!
