Let's talk about the things no one taught us about our bodies. Clits, Tits & Other Bits is a conversation card game and community project designed to help women explore their bodies, share experiences and break down shame around pleasure, health and identity. In this interactive workshop we will open up honest conversations around topics often left out of traditional sex education. Together we will explore: • Menopause • Vaginismus • Vaginal health • Body confidence • Pleasure and self understanding Using prompts from the Clits, Tits & Other Bits card game, this session will encourage open dialogue in a safe, welcoming and judgement free environment. Expect thoughtful discussions, shared experiences and a chance to connect with others in the community. No prior knowledge required. Just curiosity. This workshop is open to the local Hackney community and anyone interested in learning more about their bodies. Wine Not? is a women-only gathering before the Balancers Saturday social. Most attendees come solo, so it’s an easy and welcoming place to meet people and settle in before the night gets busier. Join us for a tour of Brothers Drake Meadery in Grandview, hosted by the owner Oron Benary. He will explain the mead-making process and offer us generous samples of their fine meads. Mead is basically wine that is made from honey instead of grapes. There are many different flavors that range from dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, to sweet. They are best known for their Apple Pie Mead. Oron has offered us a special price of 5.00 each person for the tour and tasting, which is normally 25.00 per person. I've taken the tour several times, and it's always enlightening and fun. Rebecca will bring a tea that will pair well with the mead for a tea tasting afterwards. Park anywhere around the building. Please avoid parking in front of the houses in the neighborhood behind the Meadery. Please keep your RSVP current. Knowing how many will attend will help Brothers Drake plan accordingly to accommodate us.
