Join us Saturday 21 March 9-10am at Chelsea Beach VIC 3196 (area of beach in front of Victory Park Reserve/Playground) for a sound bath and shamanic journey session** with Sharlene (ig: @transit.souls). Bring a yoga mat/towel to sit on or lie down on, and a blanket to keep warm if you wish. Free and open to all. No experience necessary. If you wish to hang around after the session, there will be an optional dip in the ocean (bring bathers and a towel if you wish to join), then we’ll move on to coffee/breakfast catchup at Jack The Lad cafe. The beat of a drum is used to lull you into a hypnotic/meditative state. We use a lot of nature imagery and ask for the guidance of helping spirits. I find it can be a good meditation technique for people who are easily distracted or find it hard to “empty the mind” in conventional meditation as you will be guided on an active “journey” through the shamanic realm to gain wisdom/power that can help you in life. No experience is necessary but it would be ideal if you are open to the concept of spirit guides.
