Young Adult Daylong Retreat During this daylong mindfulness retreat, we will come together with others in the young adult phase of life (20s and 30s) to share in sangha (community). We will be focusing on connecting with our inner landscape through experiential and grounded contemplative practices. This daylong mindfulness retreat will include: * Guided meditations * Dharma talks * Periods of supportive silence * Opportunities to share in small groups and connect with others * Mindful movement Through these practices, we will build a strong relationship with ourselves and our inner landscape, allowing us to deepen our capacity to be with ourselves and others no matter the circumstances. This leads to improper care of the patient, and endangers the entire group. Many recreational accidents are preventable, and improper care of trauma can compound even simple injuries. Very few first aid programs actually address the issues of providing emergency care in a setting where 911 is overwhelmed or not immediately reachable. In this course, classroom instruction and Q&A are interwoven with practical work and problem-solving exercises.
