Happy Good Friday to you all! Have you ever wanted to be immersed within either the city or nature in the form of a walk and socialise at the same time? If so, this may be the right walk for you. Welcome to another one of the WALK events where you have the opportunity to explore all the scenic routes I’ll execute whether there’s nature within, whether we get immersed within the city and feel great about yourself. 

With this particular walk, it’s a casual one that involves a scenic view, nature and the city all intertwined. To be precise, we’ll be walking from Camden Town through the canals (The scary way) then have a breather on top of Primrose Hill to embrace the Skyline to see the sunset, then back down through the canals and roads up to Baker Street. After this walk, we will be heading to the metropolitan bar Wetherspoons. This branch is one of the elegant ones which used to be a hotel if not an art gallery. It’s modern yet historical and has some elements of class. If you want to go there after the walk, feel free. Join us for a tour of Brothers Drake Meadery in Grandview, hosted by the owner Oron Benary. He will explain the mead-making process and offer us generous samples of their fine meads. Mead is basically wine that is made from honey instead of grapes. There are many different flavors that range from dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, to sweet. They are best known for their Apple Pie Mead. Oron has offered us a special price of 5.00 each person for the tour and tasting, which is normally 25.00 per person. I've taken the tour several times, and it's always enlightening and fun. Rebecca will bring a tea that will pair well with the mead for a tea tasting afterwards. Park anywhere around the building. Please avoid parking in front of the houses in the neighborhood behind the Meadery. Please keep your RSVP current.
