We invite you to come and practise your English with people from all over the world in a friendly environment. We are open to all levels from beginner to advanced. We have classes in small groups and you will be placed in one of these groups according to your level of English. Our free conversational English classes are every Thursday evening (except term breaks). If you are coming for the first time, please come on time for registration. Please note: English Corner is for non-native speakers. Zareh has had various accolades since opening in August last year. The Middle Eastern restaurant received the New Restaurant of the Year award from Broadsheet and The Age’s Good Food Guide, and has already been hatted. Zareh celebrates the head chef’s Armenian and Lebanese heritage and tables are in demand. This event is dedicated to Theo Angelopoulos and his two masterpieces, Landscape in the Mist and Weeping Meadow. This new film premiered at the **Fantasia Film Festival** to positive reviews from critics, though of course we’ll decide for ourselves if we agree. The movie has now been picked up by **A24** and is being released exclusively here in the U.S. This Canadian horror film is written and directed by **Ian Tuason** in his directorial debut. It centres on a paranormal podcaster who becomes haunted after receiving mysterious audio recordings from a couple plagued by a supernatural entity. From what I understand, the film is a **sound-driven, slow-burn thriller**, leaning heavily into audio-based immersive horror and a strong sense of isolation.
