🎨 **Step into the space between dreams and reality.** Join us as we explore Between Waking and Wanting, a group exhibition featuring Maud Whatley, Fipsi Seilern, Emma Richardson and Chloe Bonfield. Through painting and drawing, the artists delve into memory, desire and the quiet strangeness of our inner worlds, creating works that feel suspended between the real and the imagined.

3. Once we go in we may separate, feel free to explore the exhibit by yourself, we don't have to be together. Today we'll be looking at the work of the Italian artist Caravaggio. Caravaggio adopted *chiaroscuro* lighting in his paintings in the 16th century. *Chiaroscuro* is an Italian term referencing the contrast of light (chiar) and dark (oscuro) to model three-dimensional forms. In addition to his comics, Santoro has been an influential voice in comics education and criticism, co-founding the magazine *ComicsComics* and creating the **Santoro Correspondence Course for Comic Book Makers**, which has helped train and inspire a new generation of cartoonists.
