Hi everyone. We'll meet and play a relaxed game of ultimate in Volkspark Rehberge if the weather cooperates. Our games focus on having great team play, where the teams work together to advance the disk down the field. It's more important to work well together as a team than have a few star players get a point with lucky shots. For this reason, players of all skill levels (especially those who have never played) are welcome to join Bring plenty of water, shoes you can run in and comfortable clothing that can get a bit dirty. Although we're an established group, newcomers are always welcome. After the game we try to spend some time together and have fun. Finding us: We meet in this big grassy area, it's a short bike ride from the subway stop Rehberge on the U6 or Amrumer Strasse on the U9. Join me for my **Beginner Calisthenics Class** every Wednesday at 7pm at a park (check the location below) and learn how to build strength, flexibility and confidence using just your bodyweight. My name is Maroof 👋 and I’ve been practicing calisthenics for the last 6 years. I love this sport because I’m fascinated by the incredible movements the human body can achieve and I believe calisthenics connects people, builds communities and is one of the most sociable forms of fitness out there. In this class, we’ll cover the fundamentals like push-ups, squats and core exercises and also dive into the basics of more advanced movements such as the planche, front lever, back lever and freestyle calisthenics, all in a fun, supportive environment where you can progress at your own pace. We also play a quick team game at the end when there are a lot of participants. Winners get a small prize 😁 No experience needed, just bring comfortable clothes, some water and a positive attitude. **Price:** Free. Have you always wanted to learn bouldering but never had the right company? Or are you an experienced boulderer who just wants to find boulder-buddies? If yes, this is the right event for you. We are going to meet inside "urban apes Basement Boulderstudio", close to S Anhalter Bahnhof, also not far from Potsdamer Platz. If you have never been there, you will need to sign up with them, which will take a bit of time. After that, **you can find us on the couches near the lockers (not in front of the reception), next to a red smiley**. When you enter the actual gym, enter the hall by turning left immediately - you are walking towards them. Please join us the 3rd Wednesday of each month to learn more about the Columbus Ski Club and what we have to offer. Pizza, wings and a variety of appetizers provided. We are a non-profit organization founded in 1958 with over 800 members. The club has grown beyond the single mission of providing members with not only quality skiing events but also year round social and sport activities. Our gatherings are an opportunity for members and non-members to interact and learn about the many activities offered such as euchre, billiards, volleyball, pickleball, tennis, bowling, golf & softball leagues along with ski and non-ski trips. Our members also plan group activities such as visits to wine tastings, bike trips, comedy clubs, concerts, plays and local sports games, etc. CSC membership is not required to belong to the Meetup group. Membership is required in order to participate in most club activities (CSC member). However, anyone (21 and over) is welcome at our meeting gatherings which consist of checking out our current activities and socializing.
