Julia's Salon at Jatz Bar - Social Butterfly Club 🦋
Julia's Salon at Jatz Bar - Social Butterfly Club 🦋
In the spirit of a 19th-century salon, this gathering will be a space for lively conversations, fascinating encounters, and the exchange of ideas over drinks. Whether you’re new in town or a local looking to expand your social circle, this is the perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded explorers of Berlin’s nightlife. Each week, we shine a spotlight on a special guest from our community — someone who brings along a topic they’re passionate about or deeply engaged with. It’s not a presentation or a performance, but rather a gentle invitation into conversation: a starting point for curiosity, questions, and unexpected connections. The topic can naturally weave its way into the evening, without needing to take over. If you’d like to be our next special guest, feel free to reach out via the contact form: [https://socialbutterfly.berlin/contact/](https://socialbutterfly.berlin/contact/) This time, **Alladin** invites us to explore the topic “When the Body Remembers: Finding Calm After Stress, Noise, and Change.” After moving through different cities, life transitions, pressure, and moments of inner tension, he became curious about how stress can live not only in thoughts, but also in the body — in sleep, muscles, breathing, dreams, reactions, and daily energy. Through practices like meditation, breathing, music, movement, and self-observation, he has been learning how the body slowly finds safety again. Have you ever noticed your body reacting to old stress before your mind understands why? What helps you return to calm? Orga The location is cash only. It is non-smoking (with a separate room for smoking). We’ll be sitting on the couches in the first room. Questions? Check our Meetup-FAQs: [https://socialbutterfly.berlin/meetup-faq/](https://socialbutterfly.berlin/meetup-faq/) Meet your host I’m Julia — a Berlin local who loves bringing people together. My path went from growing up in a dance school to studying philosophy to working in IT support, and somehow all of that led me here: hosting meetups and creating spaces where people can show up, relax, and connect. Laugh without Reason Event (DE/EN)
Laugh without Reason Event (DE/EN)
Important information: The event will always take place regardless of how many people attend the meetup. There is always a second laughter yoga conductor (Heidi) and a couple of other regulars who don't use Meetup. Laughter Yoga is a unique concept that combines laughter exercises with yoga breathing to promote wellness and overall happiness. You will learn how to laugh without reason. The event is perfect for anyone looking to de-stress, boost their mood, and connect with others in a light-hearted and fun way. You don't need any yoga experience, just the willingness to laugh. **Do I need special clothing?** * Just wear comfortable clothes. Please bring some thick socks or clean shoes for the room. **Do I need anything else?** * It is essential to stay hydrated. **Please bring some water**. * Comfortable clothes. Thick socks or clean shoes for the room. * An open mind. **Is it free?** * Participation costs 5€. Alternatively, you can use Urban Sports Club. These costs are mainly used to cover rent for the room, meetup fees, website, insurance, flyers, etc. * Link for Urban Sports Club (USC): https://urbansportsclub.com/de/venues/laughter-yoga-club-kreativhaus **What does an event look like?** * We incorporate laughter exercises, breathing exercises, playful exercises, positive affirmations, and dancing. The event ends with a laughter meditation of \~ 15 minutes. **What if I can't laugh?** * Everything is voluntary. If you can't laugh, you can simulate it, and usually, people get into genuine laughter during the sessions. Laughter yoga is a great way to laugh more, to laugh deeper, and more frequently! **How many people show up?** * Usually, the group size is between 7 and 20 people. Regardless how many people sign up via meetup, the event will always take place. Many people don't sign up via meetup. **Where is it?** * It's close to U2 Märkisches Museum. The Kreativhaus Berlin Mitte has one entrance. Please be there 5 minutes before we start. After 7 pm, it might be closed, and you either have to ring the bell or go around the house and watch out for the yellow smiley flag. The session takes place in "Projektraum 2/3". Sessions are either in German or English. We always make sure that everyone understands it. More information you can find here: [www.more-laughter.com](www.more-laughter.com)

Book Swap in Gleisdreieckpark 📚 – Social Butterfly Club 🦋
Bring a blanket, maybe a drink or snack, and 3–5 books you’d like to pass on, and spend a relaxed Sunday afternoon with fellow readers at the Gleisdreieck Park. Novels, philosophy books, poetry, comics, forgotten favorites — in any language — everything is welcome. Maybe you’ll leave with fewer books — or more. Both are part of the adventure. This is not a formal market or networking event — just a cozy little community gathering with books, conversations, and a bit of curiosity. Come browse, swap, chat, or simply enjoy the atmosphere on the grass. Orga The meetup will only take place when the **weather is good**. Please keep an eye on notifications.
