**Instinct #20** \| Workshop with ***Lo Höckner*** for **LGBTQIA+** Free with **[registration](https://wearevillage.org/en/shop/village-instinct-workshop/w15-2026)** **Beyond Overwhelm** is a somatic, collective workshop that links embodied practice to social change. Together, participants explore how capitalist working cultures shape our nervous systems toward chronic overwhelm and isolation—and how we can cultivate embodied resistance. **Beyond Overwhelm** relates to embodied learning circles with clear links to social change, aiming to practice together and empower their members to gain agency and take action. This workshop deliberately addresses the body and practicing together as a collective political practice, accessing the collective wisdom of a group. In this workshop, we are going to explore how working cultures under capitalism are creating a sense of overwhelm in our nervous systems, and furthermore, how we can cultivate embodied resistance. The session offers tools for coming out of overwhelm as a foundation for building relational strategies and counteracting individualization; exploring why this is necessary for political agency while refraiming activism. Through body-based practices, collective inquiry and imagination, this workshop gives space to explore the participant’s lived environment and how practices of connection, care and existing otherwise could be brought into it 🔵 **Beyond Overwhelm** ist ein somatischer, kollektiver Workshop, der verkörperte Praxis mit sozialem Wandel verbindet. Hallo Zusammen, bei trockenem und schönem Wetter können wir die Runde um den Müggelsee machen. Der Winter ist vorbei, Zeit, sich wieder auf die Kufen zu wagen. Beginn in S-Bahn Friedrichshagen, ca. 15:20, ich fahre ca. um 15:00 in Ostkreuz los. (Eis-)Bademöglichkeiten gibt es nach ca. 15 km am Strandbad oder nach ca. 9 km am kleinen Müggelsee. Getränke solltet Ihr in diesem Fall dabei haben. Ausstiegsmöglichkeiten gibt es nach ca. 15 km in Rahnsdorf oder bei Erkner - dann verpasst Ihr aber das beste Stück. Wenn wir über Köpenick zurückfahren, dann sparen wir und den Spreetunnel. Grundlegende Skate- und Bassibremskenntnisse werden erwartet. Jeder ist für seine eigene Sicherheit verantwortlich. Wer es nicht schafft - die Müggelseerunde ist eine der besten Berlins, ich plane sie noch öfters dieses Jahr.

Hi everyone. We'll meet and play a relaxed game of ultimate in Volkspark Rehberge if the weather cooperates. Our games focus on having great team play, where the teams work together to advance the disk down the field. It's more important to work well together as a team than have a few star players get a point with lucky shots. For this reason, players of all skill levels (especially those who have never played) are welcome to join Bring plenty of water, shoes you can run in and comfortable clothing that can get a bit dirty. Although we're an established group, newcomers are always welcome. After the game we try to spend some time together and have fun. Finding us: We meet in this big grassy area, it's a short bike ride from the subway stop Rehberge on the U6 or Amrumer Strasse on the U9. It can be a bit tricky to find the first time, so we've got a few methods to help out (don't trust the meetup map pin, it often shows some point in the park, not the exact spot where we are) 1. This weekly roll is led by Jeff Walden, the man behind Zephyrus and a true force on two wheels.** **We’re meeting in Falls Church and taking it to the streets. This ride ain’t for the brand new riders, but if you’ve got some miles under your belt and you’re ready to level up, pull up. Arrive at 9:30 am Pedal at 9:45 am Join us for this scenic ride with great views of Sugarloaf Mountain, pristine farmland, and peach trees along Peach Tree Road. There is also an option to go up Sugarloaf Mountain. Doing so, would add another 6 to 8 miles and 350 feet of climbing. We can decide at the beginning of the ride if we want to add the Sugarloaf Mountain climb. This route is a long time favorite of local cyclists with its use of lightly traveled country roads through Western Montgomery County's Agricultural Preserve area. After the ride, we can go either to Rockland Farm Winery for a much-deserved glass of wine and pizza or to Bassett's Restaurant. Ride Details Two ride options varying in length and difficulty are available as detailed below. Riding time, including breaks, for both ride options is expected to be about 3 hours. Ride A: Distance: 42.2 Miles Terrain: Gentle rolling hills to hilly.
