Sunshine & Silliness | The ADHDers Picnic | Holborn | Everyone Welcome
We are back again for another day of fun, silly laughs and making new friends!
The event is a picnic in London for ADHDers, neurodivergent people, and friendly chaotic sorts. You don't need ADHD, or a diagnosis. Cool, nice people are welcome.
Weâll be in **Lincoln's Inn Fields** from 3pm ([The women only picnic starts at 1pm)](https://meetu.ps/e/Q29Wk/YBzrR/i) and finish at... whenever. A loose ending feels on brand.
Expect:
*snacks, chats, and fresh air
- wandering conversations and abrupt topic changes
*people arriving late, leaving early, and forgetting what they were saying
- a friendly mix of regulars and new people
Bring:
*something to sit on
- food and drinks
*water
- layers / suncream / emergency crisps
Lincol's Inn Fields is central, easy to get to, and near cafĂŠs, pubs and toilets, which is all very helpful for a picnic and for being alive.
Come for twenty minutes or all day. Lurk gently. Overshare magnificently. Get distracted by a dog. Plenty of people come alone, so solo arrivals are very normal. If you are a feeling
a bit shy or awkward, please ask for
Kieran, (that's me) and we can have a chat.
A nice, low-pressure London ADHD social meetup where you overstimulated folks can touch grass for a few hours.
**Directions:**
Come into Lincoln's Inn Field, look for a tree where a bright yellow blanket will be hanging. It's not a big space, we'll be easy to find.
**A note: This is a consent-led space. Please consider not everyone wants to be asked for their phone number on meeting for the first time or to go out on a date. This is a strictly not a dating event. People come here to connect and build community. If anyone has any concerns, please speak to Kieran, (me) directly**

Board Games in Finsbury Park đ˛âď¸đş
**Whether youâre brand new to board games or just looking for a cosy way to meet people, this night is designed with you in mind.**
We run our board game night every two weeks, always in the same venue, and with the same familiar hosts. Our aim is simple: create the kind of event you enjoy so much that you want to come back - and maybe make a few new friends along the way.
**Please use the link below to purchase tickets for this event.**
[https://dplsk.eventcube.io/events/96394/board-games-at-finsbury-park/](https://dplsk.eventcube.io/events/96394/board-games-at-finsbury-park/)
**â What Makes This Event Special â**
**The Venue:** Blighty is cosy, colourful, and just a little bit quirky â like the living room of your eccentric aunt. It also has a fabulous garden where we play board games when the weather is nice.
**The Games:** We currently own over 50 games, including favourites like Articulate, Codenames, and Secret Hitler. Every game is handâpicked for maximum fun and easy learning.
**Blood on the Clocktower:** We often run Blood on the Clocktower as a special feature of the night. Itâs completely optional, always beginnerâfriendly, and a brilliant way to meet people through laughter, bluffing, and bold accusations.
**The Hosts:** They are some of the loveliest people you will ever meet on Meetup. It doesnât matter if it is your 1st time or 100th time coming to the board game night, they will always make you feel welcome.
**Who This Event Is For**
This night is perfect for people who are new to board games or just want something light, social, and easy going.
* You donât need to know any games beforehand.
* Youâre welcome to come alone or with a friend - either is completely fine.
This is not a hardcore gaming night. You wonât find Dungeons & Dragons or Magic: The Gathering here.

Your contribution helps us keep the event fresh and fun:
* We buy new games every month to expand and update our collection.
* Any games we no longer need are donated back to the community through regular giveaways.

London Society WALK - Marble Arch to Shepherds Bush
Have you ever wanted to be immersed within either the city or nature in the form of a walk and socialise at the same time? If so, this may be the right walk for you.
Welcome to another one of the WALK events where you have the opportunity to explore all the scenic routes Iâll execute whether thereâs nature within, whether we get immersed within the city and feel great about yourself.
âŠâŠWith this particular walk, we will be walking from Marble Arch to Shepherdâs Bush. This walk in particular is more of a transition from central London to the western parts of London. One moment, weâre surrounded by landmarks and gorgeous parks and the next, we enter a different dynamic of west London that we havenât seen before. To be precise, itâs quite the immersive walk as we get to discover what cultures and places are down there.
After this walk, we will be heading inside Westfield Shepherdâs Bush for some ice cream at Badianiâs or any other alternative if you wish.
Badianiâs is an Italian business specialised in gelato and any other delicacies. They began since 1932 and arrived in the Uk since 2016. If you were to look at their treats, you could say it feels like âCharlie and the chocolate factoryâ. To find out more, check out their website at https://www.badiani1932.com

Ramsgate to Margate Coastal Walk from London!
**Sunday 28th June**
⨠Ramsgate to Margate Coastal Walk â¨
đSt Pancras Stationđ
â° 09:00-9:15 am â°
We're leaving London for the day to walk the Viking Coastal Path from Ramsgate to Margate!
We'll explore the 11km stretch of coast before settling in Margate where we'll have time to visit the \*free!\* Turner Contemporary Museum, the famous Crab Museum and simply chill on the beach in the sun with a cold beer.
**Logistics**
If you're coming on the trip you need to book an open return to Ramsgate (which will allow you to return from Margate too), and we'll be taking the outbound train from ST PANCRAS to RAMSGATE that departs at 9:40am. Tickets can be purchased at southeastern (where 33% discounts are available for bookings of 3 or more if you don't have a railcard):
https://www.southeasternrailway.co.uk/
You need to be on this train to make the trip. We are allowing plenty of time beforehand to meet, grab a coffee, so this shouldn't be an issue.
Please ensure you bring adequate provisions for a walk and time at the beach including water, sunscreen, good shoes, swimwear, and a benevolent disposition :)
Please join our whatsapp group to stay informed of all the latest with regards to our event on the day and going forward:

**What is all this?**
This is a fun enterprise set up purely for the purposes of bringing new people together and having a good time. Our meet-ups are for everyone - all inclusive and welcoming! Our events will follow no particular theme - variety is the spice of life after all - and we'll try to keep a nice mix of different accessible options.
**Can I come alone?**
Of course!! That's nerve-racking for some but a huge number of our participants come alone and feel equally uncertain about it. The hardest part is only ever the activation energy required to ask that first question or two.
**Is there any cost?**
We are not making a penny from any of this - It's all done for the pure thrill of the thing itself and with the belief that the monetisation of a fun project is a sure-fire way to suck the joy out of it! We will be selecting some activities that will be ticketed events, but it will simply be up to you to book in if you want to come!
**Do I need to sign up?**
Usually no! Just show up - but just check the detail of the event above to be sure.

Singles Sunday Park Walk | Ages 40 to 55
BOOK YOUR TICKET đđź [HERE](https://itsadate.club/event/sunday-park-walk-32/).
Connecting with potential partners is a walk in the park when youâre doing something you love! If youâre active, enjoy a good social scene, and are into the outdoors, join us with 30 single guests for a 6.5 km walk around the Regents Park and Primrose Hill Circular. Switch scrolling for strolling during this wholesome morning, which includes a hosted walk, coffee (or tea), and a homemade chocolate brownie.
Meet Ollie, your host, outside Regents Bar and Kitchen in Regents Park Inner Circle and just a short walk from Baker Street Station. After a stroll around Queen Maryâs Garden, we will continue through Marylebone Green and the English Gardens of Regentâs Park. Weâll then head north, crossing Regents Canal via the Monkey Gate, and make our way up to the viewpoint at Primrose Hill. Here, weâll stop for coffee and homemade browniesâa great opportunity to socialise more widely with the group and get to know as many people as possible. If the weather isnât kind to us, weâll take refuge in a nearby cafĂŠ around Primrose Hill.
After this short interlude, we will continue clockwise on the circuit, re-joining The Board Walk in Regents Park as we pass London Zoo, and then return to Marylebone Green, where weâll conclude at the Japanese Garden.
This is a super-relaxed morning walk and a fantastic opportunity to meet a fun bunch of people while getting your steps in along the way. After the walk, the usual post-event matching and messaging will be available on your Itâs a Date dashboard. Alternatively, there are plenty of nearby trails and cosy Marylebone pubs to extend your date with newfound connections.
If you have any questions about the event or how things will work, please get in touch with Ollie at 07517 065492 or ollie@itsadate.club.
London's Lost Rivers - Walk the River Fleet!
Come along on Sunday 28th June for a guided walk/hike walking the route of one of London's lost rivers - the River Fleet!
**About the walk**
We will pick up the River Fleet and walk the last 3 miles to where it enters the River Thames. The Fleet is unfortunately completely covered and is now part of sewer system.
The walk is part hike/part guided, so on the way I will show you points of interest which would have been on the banks of the River Fleet and tell you more about them.
**The River Fleet**
The river's name is derived from the Anglo-Saxon *'flÄot'* meaning *"tidal inlet"*. Its headwaters are two streams on Hampstead Heath and flows south about 6 miles into the River Thames.
Over time, as London grew, the river became increasingly a sewer and when the London sewer system was built by Joseph Bazalgette in the 1860's, the Fleet was covered over and became part of the system.
We will walk about 3 miles, so sensible shoes are advised. The terrain is pavements.

Learn to Play Pickleball: beginner & Intermediate drills
Want to learn pickleball in a fun, low-pressure setting? Iâm hosting a free beginner-friendly meetup at Olentangy Parklands to help new players learn the basics and get comfortable on the court.
Iâm a pretty skilled player and will walk everyone through the essentials, including rules, scoring, serving, basic strategy, and how to start playing real games. No experience needed.
Weâll meet on the upper courts.
Bring a pickleball paddle if you have one. If not, no problem, Iâll have some extras available for people to use.
This event is meant for beginners and anyone curious about trying pickleball for the first time. Come ready to move, learn, and have fun.
Wine Tasting / Shark Week!
**Shark Week Kick Off -** In celebration of Shark Week (and to honor Nick's favorite animal, just after humans and bigfoot) we will serve shark themed wines and play the theme to Jaws in the background as our wittier members blurt out puns such as "I think we're going to need a bigger..." glass of wine...
Shark Week runs from **Sunday, July 26, through Saturday, August 1, 2026**. The eight-day programming event will air on the Discovery Channel.
**Sample 4 different wines** this Friday for $15 (cash or Venmo only please). Glasses are provided. Bring a snack to share. Bring a bottle to share if you care to. See all the details below for the Hilliard Wine Club Wine Tasting. In Person. In Real Life. Actual Wine from glass bottles with corks and everything.
**Wine**: Tastings will be $15 for four samples (cash or Venmo only please). And you are welcome to bring a bottle of your favorite wine to share with others. Participation in the wine tastings is optional. But since youâre going, I will buy enough wine to cover you. If you bring your own wine and do not participate in the tasting you will only pay $10 to cover the door charge.
**Parking**: There are several public parking lots near the Alive614 hall. Please be careful to NOT park in private parking lots. They do tow. Check Google maps to scope out your space. Anyone who is early could easily find a parking space on the street nearby.
**Glasses**: âŚwill be provided. Please note that after the wine tasting, the EMPTY glasses need to be returned to the boxes at the service table. Please do not make me hunt down your empty glass. Please be gentle, our glasses are fragile. Uh, they are made of glass!
**Food**: You are welcome to bring a snack to share. It is not required. Most people do though. If no one brings anything, there will be nothing.
**Code of Conduct**: Though mostly understood, itâs still worth mentioning. We donât have rules per se, but we highly discourage the following topics of discussion because they are likely to incite anti-social responses - Sex, Politics, Religion. Please donât mistake this as an attempt to limit your free speech rights but rather a guide to a place and time for appropriate discussions.
**Extra Wine**: After everyone has had their samples, we remove the pouring spouts and any remaining wine is poured freely to whomever wants it. I hate having leftover wine.
**Queen of Hearts**: The Queen of Hearts raffle is a fundraiser for the club and a Barnum & Bailey type extravaganza - minus the dancing ponies and clowns. Bring your ***cash*** as the Queen does not accept American Express or other plastic.
**After the lights go out**: After the last sip of wine, when we clean up and turn the lights out, if you still havenât had enough of us, it is typical for a group to get together and go to a local eatery for food and/or drinks or coffee.
Again, We look forward to meeting new members and reuniting with old friends.
Sincerely, ***Paul Uttermohlen***,
**Red 1 Realty**
