Iedere aanpassing lijkt exponentieel veel tijd te vergen. Er kunnen verschillende oorzaken hiervoor zijn, maar vaak zie je dat er te veel afhankelijkheden in de sourcecode zijn, verantwoordelijkheden niet goed belegd zijn of het systeem niet goed aansluit op de werkelijkheid. In deze sessie gaan we in op hoe DDD, Event Storming en Hexagonal Architecture ons kan helpen deze punten te verbeteren aan de hand van een concrete casus, diagrammen en sourcecode. Hiernaast verzorgt hij een minor cloud-native software development aan de Hogeschool Utrecht waarin hij nieuwe vakgenoten leert professioneel software te ontwikkelen voor de cloud. **Cees van der Velde** Cees is een ervaren business- en informatieanalist bij Quintor met een passie voor techniek. Every Tuesday, the group 024 Waalrunners goes for a run at a distance of between 5km - 10km. Everyone is welcome to join, you just need to turn up at 20:00 on Tuesday in front of Cafe De Hemel. There are different routes every time, and the group welcomes all new people to join them. Naast je reguliere werk hebben velen van jullie een hobby project, bijbaan of side hustle, waar je trots op bent, blij van wordt of waar anderen iets van kunnen leren. Mijn blog helpt me een betere ontwikkelaar te worden, doordat het me dwingt wekelijks te reflecteren op mijn werk en ons vakgebied. Wil je ook beginnen met bloggen, maar je weet niet hoe? Ik geef tips! **Môshe van der Sterre - ring_o_roses: low-latency & memory-safe & ergonomic.** Ik heb een experimenteel low-latency performance framework gemaakt in Rust, op basis van de LMAX disruptor architectuur, maar met een ergonomische user-facing API geinspireerd door Bevy's ECS. **Stijn Spijker - Maak je eigen race-stoel** Hoe ik een Tesla autostoel heb omgebouwd naar een ESP32, zodat ik de stoel zelf kan instellen, en het bedieningspaneel uit lees. **Joris Zwart - Tetris4life** Het begon als een spelletje... in 35 jaar tijd bouwde ik \~35 versies van Tetris met verschillende programmeertalen, frameworks en paradigma's. **Jeroen Huinink - Jotihunt** Met onze scoutinggroep doen we elk jaar mee met de Jotihunt, een gedeeltelijk online spel waar bijna 70 groepen aan meedoen. Ik heb voor onze groep een web applicatie gemaakt die ons helpt om het spel te spelen. Een ideale applicatie om met wat dingen te experimenteren. In de laatste iteratie ben ik all-in gegaan op eventsourcing op een nodejs backend. **Harmi Praagman - Nia Domo** Wat doe je als je in een woonvereniging woont waar vreselijke ruzie ontstaat over wel of niet overstappen op WhatsApp in plaats van een mailinglijst? **Hein Ragas - Wanneer heb je smart lighting nodig, en waarom zou je dat niet zelf maken?** We gaan het hebben over CRTs, LEDs en 2.4GHz protocollen, en nemen kwast en schroevendraaier ter hand om zelf de perfecte belichting voor een keuken-eiland te maken. **Dick Abma - Energiemanagement @ Home** In een gemiddeld huishouden spelen verschillende energiedragers en verbruikers een rol. Om mijn zonnestroom optimaal te benutten, bouwde ik thuis een eigen energie­management­systeem. Met €150 aan standaard hardware – een Raspberry Pi, Zigbee-stekkers en een Zigbee-hub – is deze investering binnen één jaar terugverdiend. **Vito Minheere - Wegenbelasting** Ik ben zelf een open source python project begonnen om de wegenbelasting van voertuigen te berekenen en de berekening inzichtelijk te krijgen.

*( English below)* Voordat een bordspel of kaartspel kan worden uitgegeven, moet er veel aan het spel getest worden om zeker te zijn dat het leuk is, duidelijk is en altijd goed werkt. Daarom komen we **elke 2 weken** met spelauteurs uit de regio samen om prototypes van spellen te testen en ze zo beter te maken en misschien ooit wel gepubliceerd te krijgen. Om 8 uur verzamelen we bij [StartUp Nijmegen](https://startupnijmegen.nl/) voor een speltestavond. Afhankelijk van het aantal aanwezigen en prototypes dat er wordt meegenomen (neem zelf ook iets mee als je wilt) vormen we een aantal groepen. Bij kleinere spellen kun je in de loop van de avond van groep wisselen, bij grotere spellen moet je dat even overleggen. **Ook als je zelf** **geen spellen maakt** of een spel hebt dat je wilt testen, ben je natuurlijk van harte welkom. Het is voor ontwerpers heel fijn om de mening van zo veel mogelijk andere mensen te krijgen. En heel eerlijk: het testen van nieuwe spellen is ook gewoon heel leuk! We gaan door tot een uur of 11, maar voel je vrij al eerder naar huis te gaan. Er is **gratis koffie** **en thee** bij StartUp Nijmegen. Voor fris, bier of wijn wordt een kleine bijdrage gevraagd. StartUp Nijmegen ligt tegenover het station. De auto kun je parkeren in de naastgelegen Keizer Karelparkeergarage (50 cent per uur). Er is hier ook een afgesloten fietsenstalling. De testavonden in Nijmegen zijn elke **2e dinsdag** en elke **4e woensdag** van de maand. Donderdag **26 februari 2026** is het weer tijd voor onze **Techday**: hét vaste moment waarop we kennis delen, elkaar inspireren en nieuwe ideeën direct in de praktijk brengen. Deze editie komt een spreker van Onyx langs. Onyx is gespecialiseerd in cybersecurity. Tijdens deze techday worden theorie, praktijk en nabespreking gecombineerd met directe toepasbaarheid in jullie dagelijkse werkzaamheden. Tijdens de Techday duiken we hands-on in veelvoorkomende kwetsbaarheden en misconfiguraties binnen moderne softwareontwikkeling. Theorie, demo’s en realistische scenario’s wisselen elkaar af. If you're unsure what that is, we can teach you! We'll be meeting on the second floor of Giant Eagle in their cafe area. Join us for another board game night with FANG (Fem All Night Gaming). We are an all fem board gaming group in Columbus, Ohio. We are creating a space for people who identify as fem. No cis-men. Closer to the event we'll announce any games the admins are brining. We will always bring games, but we encourage everyone to bring any games they enjoy playing! We have a lot of great teachers in our group, so don't worry if you don't know how to play! 2PM START TIME! We’re meeting at Nocterra Audubon! (Not Powell!). They have great food & beer! It’s inside of the Scioto Park if you’re into a Winter walk between games Feel free to reach out to either admin if you have any questions!

The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area. Parking can be challenging. There is a parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.

Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations. 
We started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that. We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus. 
Feel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn. 
Here are just a few examples of the kind of games we play. 
Tabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 Wonders… 
Social deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, Werewords… 
IMPORTANT: 
1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for. 
2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you haven’t come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.
