No rating required, no membership, no fees — just good games, good company, and a good bar. We meet weekly at **Red Lion Tavern** (2366 Glendale Blvd, Silver Lake) — **September 10, 7:00pm**. Whether you're a total beginner who barely remembers how a knight moves, or you've got a rating you're trying to grow, you'll find an opponent here. **What to expect:** * Boards and clocks provided — bring nothing but yourself (though feel free to bring your own set if you've got a favorite) * All skill levels welcome — we'll help pair you up with someone at your level * 21+, since we're at a bar. Hello, fellow gamers! **The Rooftop Throwdown** is an inclusive gathering of gamers open to gamers and games of all varieties! The premise is simple, come lounge with us, enjoy the sunset over the city, and meet some of the most passionate gamers this side of California! **Games provided by host:** There will be Two console gaming stations with Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Play Station 4 with games such as Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, Overcooked, Gang Beasts, and more! Additionally, there will also be board / card games such as Rivals of Catan, Taco-Cat-Goat-Cheese-Pizza, Joking Hazard, and more! **Participants are encouraged to bring their favorite games to share!** Anyone may set up their own gaming console / game at any station not being used. Due to limited power access, if you wish to bring your own display, please reach out to the host for approval first. Anyone who provides a game, console, or equipment to share with others is encouraged to establish their own rules for the safe handling of their items and all participants are expected to respect and abide by those rules.
