The pickleball courts are situated on the far side of the playground, past the swing sets and picnic area. These courts (are] strictly on a first-come, first-served basis, and we do not offer reservation for public use. The courts are frequently unoccupied, but sometimes few people utilize the courts. **Looking to get out with friends on Christmas Day?** There will be "3 Bridges to Cross, 2 Do-able Hills, and a Paaaartridge in a Pear Tree". Enjoy your morning (with or without the optional Ride Before the Ride) then join friends for an afternoon ride through SE DC. There are two do-able hills at the beginning of the ride to warm us up. If you can you do the distance and pace but are worried about the hills, please DO sign up! This will be good practice as we will wait and regroup at the top of those hills. To keep us warm, we will keep to a Medium 13-15 mph pace. This is a sweep-less ride so verify you have the route downloaded to your device. Halloween in December? Why not! Come celebrate whatever winter holidays you wish in only the *most* festive manner - with fursuits, spooky theming, golf, and laser tag! We will once again be descending upon Monster Mini Golf in Chantilly for an evening of games, costuming, and great company! Sound like a good time? We have TWO party rooms reserved for our group at 7 PM, and every attendee will be able to partake in one game consisting of 18 holes of glow-in-the-dark mini golf, alive with animated monsters, music, and lots of audio and visual effects! But wait, that's not all! Every attendee will also receive one round of laser tag and $5 in arcade credits. And the best part - this event is **FURSUIT-FRIENDLY**! Monster has generously granted our group permission to wear fursuits on the premises during this event. If you are fursuiting, please be sure to abide by the following rules: 1. Be courteous and respectful to other Monster Mini Golf guests and staff members. If a staff member asks you to remove your head at any time, please do so. 2. Do your best to NOT act as representatives of Monster Mini Golf. The store made this very clear in our conversation with them, as they have had issues with this in the past. Try to stick with the group, do not harass other guests, and do not stand and linger in doorways, hallways, etc. in a way that can be misconstrued as acting as a "greeter". 3. We meet at lunch each week and each meeting follows a fairly organized agenda. First all participants pass their business cards around. Then each member and guest is invited to give a one-minute overview of their company and what is a perfect referral for the week. We always have a 10 minute presentation from one of the members about their business in more detail. And finally we pass referrals. You're welcome to visit. Nobody is ever put on the spot.
