Im Großen Salon der Schwartzsche Villa treffen Sie auf einen Kreis von Literaturbegeisterten, die Ihrem Text eine ernsthafte und fundierte Kritik spenden. Das Publikum wechselt. Es ist gemischt, geeint durch das Interesse an Texten. Die Autorinnen und Autoren des Abends lesen aus ihren bislang unveröffentlichten Kurzgeschichten, lyrischen Texten, Erzählungen, Romanen, manchmal auch aus Theaterstücken. Die Autoren stellen nicht sich selbst, sondern ihre Texte der Kritik. Wir verstehen uns als Arbeitsbühne. Deshalb wird bei uns nach den Lesungen nicht geklatscht. Die Texte werden nach der Lesung des Autors auf handwerkliche Stärken und Schwächen „abgeklopft“. Es geht im Forum daher nicht um weltanschauliche Debatten. Im Idealfall hat der Autor/die Autorin nach einer Lesung und der Kritik verstanden, wo die Stärken und Schwächen seines Textes liegen, woran es seinem Text noch fehlt, was er ändern sollte und wo er bei seiner Überarbeitung ansetzen kann. Der Abend endet gegen 22.00. Im Anschluss können Sie mit den Autoren im Café der Schwartzschen Villa noch ins Gespräch kommen und manches aus dem Literaturbetrieb erfahren. Wir sind im Kontakt auch mit namhaften Vertretern desselben. Also – nicht gleich verschwinden! Dranbleiben. Reden Sie mit den Forumianern! ## Sie möchten selbst lesen? Wenn Sie selbst im Autorenforum lesen wollen, gibt es einige Dinge zu beachten. Wir bitten Sie sehr herzlich, sich mindestens einmal vor Ihrer ersten Lesung bei uns mit unseren Gegebenheiten vertraut zu machen. Ihren Lesewunsch können Sie dann ab 19.30 Uhr (Einlass) bei der Moderatorin oder dem Moderator eines Leseabends anmelden. **Wir weisen ausdrücklich daraufhin, dass über die Annahme und Reihenfolge der Lesungen die jeweiligen Moderatoren entscheiden und es NICHT zwingend nach der Reihenfolge der Anmeldungen geht!** In der Regel reicht die Zeit nur für drei Autoren je Abend und die Nachfrage ist oft recht hoch. **Hi everyone!** We’ll now be meeting twice a week at Denizen House (Köpenicker Str. 40, 10179 Berlin), on **Mondays and Wednesdays**! * **Mondays:** levels A1 to B1 * **Wednesdays:** levels B1 to C1 We work with dedicated materials tailored to each level, so everyone will have a place to practice and improve. **Event schedule** * **18:00 – 18:30** Arrival and registration * **18:30 – 19:50** Sprachcafé * **19:50 – 20:00** End and clean up Please be aware that the moderated event starts at **18:30**. A regular meeting to read and discuss work writers' are currently engaged in. For screenwriters' serious about their writing and wanting the support and incentive a periodic group meeting can provide. Unser internationales Sprachcafé richtet sich an Alt- und Neu-Berliner\*innen, Reisende und Anwohner\*innen - alle sind willkommen! Selbstverständlich ist die Teilnahme an den Spielen freiwillig und ihr könnt euch gerne einfach gemütlich unterhalten. Hallo, es ist wieder so weit, der zweite Freitag im September ist schon nächste Woche! Deshalb habe ich im Neffes draußen im Innenhof für uns reserviert. Wenn das Wetter schlecht werden sollte, haben wir die Ecke vor dem - ausgeschalteten - Fernseher für uns :-). Ich freue mich schon, euch wieder persönlich zu sehen! Und hier der übliche Ankündigungstext: Unser zweimonatliches Treffen steht wieder an! An jedem zweiten Freitag eines ungeraden Monats treffen wir Selbständige, Unternehmer und Freiberufler aus der IT uns wieder um 19:00 Uhr im Neffes. Bei einem gemütlichen Zusammensein werden wir uns über fast alle Themen unterhalten. Der Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf den beruflichen Themen. Z. B. wie gehen andere mit den Kunden und deren Mitarbeitern um, welches sind die neuesten Insider Infos von den verschiedene Unternehmen, wie sieht es bei den anderen mit den Einsatzorten und Arbeitsbedingungen aus und vieles mehr. Es wird wie immer ein interessanter Abend mit einem umfangreichen Erfahrungsaustausch werden, der einen auch beruflich weiterbringt. Mit dem DBITS e.V. wollen wir die Anerkennung von IT-Freiberuflern in der Gesellschaft und Politik vorantreiben, dort gibt es leider noch einen sehr großen Aufhol- und Aufklärungsbedarf und damit viel zu besprechen und zu erfahren. Des Weiteren bietet uns der Verein ein breites Netzwerk an Leuten mit den gleichen Zielen und Problemen. Aber wie gesagt, das Ziel ist ein schöner, informativer Abend, es gibt kein Mitgliederzwang. Dear Balkaneros, Malaka Hostel bring their “Global Umpa” energy to Badehaus Berlin — a wild, dance-first mix of Balkan/folk flavors, ska grooves, gypsy swing and rock drive. Expect an ecstatic live show, big singalongs, and that “one more song!” vibe. Their 3rd studio album “Brucca Beat” is set for release in March 2026, so this gig is perfectly timed for fresh material + fan favorites. We thought of one of the interesting things that can be enjoyed at this time of the year. We will be meeting at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for a "Fish Fry" in Marian Hall on Friday, March 27th at 5:00 PM. It might be fun for you to experience what has become a tradition on the Fridays before Easter. They will have fried fish or baked fish, French fries and Cole slaw, as well as beverages, all for $16.00 for adults. They will have other beverages and desserts available for sale, as well. We have never tried this, and sometimes there are quite a few people at these events so we hope that we will be able to find each other easily. I'll try to have signs outside Marian Hall that Identify our group. We hope to have you join us!
