## What we'll do $26 per person for 2 hours of training (includes table hire) The sound of the ball, the paddle in your hand – playing table tennis is simply fun. Although often wrongly disregarded by the sports fans around the world, this physical activity will keep your body, mind, and spirit extra fit. You will be attending a group session which is currently held every Monday at MSAC in Albert Park. This will give you an insight of what is involved and how we run our sessions. This particular session for you will be divided into 2 parts. The first part will involve different group activities focusing on different table tennis shots while playing with other meet up attendees. This will give you a chance to get to know each other as well as improve your table tennis skills together. The second part will involve the whole group which include both regular weekly players and meet up attendees. You will continue to do different activities as well as play matches in a fun and enjoyable way. The session will be led by myself and another highly qualified victorian state coach. Dress in comfortable clothes and runners. Balls and bats are provided but feel free to bring your own bat. Meet us at the Table Tennis Hall and ask for Peter when you arrive. If you arrive late, you’re welcome to join quietly at any point. This 20-minute session will include a guided mindfulness exercise (“Leaves on a Stream”) drawn from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). The focus is on gentle attention, perspective, and practical skills you can take into everyday life - not discussion or sharing.
