Many actors rush to performance — but skipping scene analysis and proper character work can mean missing the heart of a scene. In this session, we will explore the essential (and often overlooked) step of breaking down a scene, then getting on your feet and going through a series of exercises. You will then apply what you've learned - bringing the scene to life through performance which can be taped on the phone in class. A scene will be sent a day in advance. Through practical tools, and guided exercises, we’ll help you uncover what drives each character, different ways to deliver the scene and how thoughtful analysis leads to truthful, compelling choices.
