**JUST ADDED, we are happy to announce Derron will be opening the night with some classic Japanese tracks!**

Emerging from Osaka's underground scene, TAMIW (pronunciation: tamyū) are a left-field electronic band fused with live instruments, formed in 2018 by vocalist Tami, known for blending ambient textures, bass music, and alternative pop into a distinctive, immersive sound.
This is a ticketed event, tickets available from here:
TAMIW's music is created at "Hidden Place," a studio set within a temple and animal cemetery where members of the band also work-an environment that deeply influences their atmospheric and emotional style. After gaining attention through a U.S. tour and a standout appearance at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL's ROOKIE A GO-GO stage, they continued to evolve with releases including *future exercise*, *Floating Girls*, and *Fight for Innocence*. Their latest album, *Farewell Party* (2024), expands their sound further with rich analog synths, sampling, and hip-hop elements, alongside new member Taichi. Now bringing their unique live show to London, TAMIW offer a rare chance to experience one of Japan's most intriguing experimental acts:

Supporting are Pærish, a powerful 4-piece band from Paris, France, known for their tight, intense and highly engaging live performances.
The band is currently preparing a new album set for release in Summer 2026 via SideOneDummy Records, produced by Will Yip (Turnstile\*\*), marking a major new step in their international development.
Over the past few years, Pærish have built a strong live reputation, touring extensively across Europe, the UK, and North America,
and sharing the stage with Sum 41, Movements, Alkaline Trio, Landmvrks, The Raveonettes, and Superheaven, as well as performing at major festivals such as Resurrection Fest.
On stage, Pærish deliver a raw, emotional and high-impact set, combining melody and intensity — a format that connects strongly with both club and festival audiences:

The Quiet-ish ADHD Social | Small Group | Low Battery Laughs & Chat
This is a smallish-group, quiet-ish meetup for ADHD brains who want to connect with their tribe without their nervous system going, 'Alll riiight, I'm outta here!'
Everyone welcome. You don't need a diagnosis, you don't even need ADHD.
We’re meeting at **Picturehouse Central - upstairs cafe** (Piccadilly) because it’s one of those places where you can actually hear yourself think. Mostly. This is more of a tea/coffee and cake kinda venue. Sorry, booze hounds!
**The environment is**: relaxed, validating, welcoming
It won't be like whispering to each other at the back of the class, more less sensory Armageddon.
**What to expect**
A small group (human-scale, not “who are all these people” scale).
A quiet-ish venue where you don’t have to shout your personality into existence.
Conversation that can be normal (well, probably far from normal 😅. There is no need to worry about trying to fit in, no need to mask.
A soft landing. Come late, ease in, do a gentle hello, no one’s timing you.
Low-pressure hanging out. If you want to chat, great. If you want to sit and decompress near other people, also great.
**The unofficial theme**
How to be social without being assaulted by:
fluorescent lighting
overlapping conversations
surprise music
that one table doing a full volume podcast recording next to you.
**Important Note:**
If you cannot make it, please put 'Can't go'. This ensures there's space for others who want to attend 🙂
‐------------------------------------------------------
Boundaries (quick, clear, important)
Yay!-DHD is a consent-led space. Some people are chatty, some are quiet, some are pacing themselves. Please don’t push for personal details, contact info, or continued connection if someone isn’t offering it. This isn’t a dating event.

Friday Indie Night at Hope & Anchor Islington
Hi All
We have an absolutely rocking night for you with three insanely talented and classy acts! Grit Pop Rock from the brilliant **Drew Thomas**, Alt Indie Rock from the fabulous **Lightlines** and a stunning opening acoustic set from one of the best folk soul pop artists out there - **George Huxtable**.
They are all FANTASTIC!!!
Join us from 6.45 upstairs at t
Our lineup:
Coming-of-age stories told through a modern gaze, **DREW THOMAS** grew up on music channels, scratched CDs, and the glow of a TV left on too late. Inspired by the turn of the millennium. A grit-pop revolution lives in that in-between space. Drew's songs unpack sexuality, hiding your feelings, and the familiar moment of falling out with the bathroom mirror. Rock music shaped by early-noughties honesty, written for anyone who grew up feeling out of place, still learning how to love themselves and the journey that comes with it.
Following 2025’s acclaimed Watershed EP, Drew steps into his next era with confidence, cementing his place as a modern LGBTQ+ artist. Breakout single “Girls Like Girls” went viral, pulling in over 2 million Instagram views alone, while “Do They Even Know You” earned BBC Radio 1 plays, along with spins across Amazing Radio, Total Rock and various online radios around the world, and named one of Dean Jackson’s BBC Introducing Most Played Artists of 2025.
[WATCH DREW THOMAS HERE](https://youtu.be/q7Looo8e2KQ?si=03t_N2EbQ9qaavGC)
**LIGHTLINES** are a UK alt-pop/rock trio who with loud guitars, driving drums, and honest lyrics, play music that hits hard live. Since debut single Wasted, they’ve crafted catchy, punchy songs designed for stage energy, emotional impact, and unforgettable nights.
[WATCH LIGHTLINES HERE](https://www.instagram.com/reel/DTuvhDVjANe/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==)
UK-based Aussie song maker **GEORGE HUXTABLE** is crafting a sound best called ‘soully pop’. The warmth and honesty of his peformances has won him great support live. His debut album Season 22 was released in 2023.

💿Love Dance Music? Bangin Club Night Camden @Iconic KOKO🎧🎼
**Love dancing to hedonistic, high‑energy dance tunes?** Then join for our second edition of an euphoric, high‑octane dance music night with one of the finest French Swiss **dance‑music DJs and Producers** out there dropin phenomenal uplifting spiritual, hypnotic melodic grooves for us to lose ourselves to in one of the most iconic venues in London’s clubland — **KOKO** Camden, in the home of music. Collectively - their music has amassed over 18 million streams.
Expect a proper dance music club‑night experience with inspiring immersive lightshows / lasers for our bodies to sync in harmony to as with gyrate to the **rhythms** of the night. Obvs there will be no uncool mainstream "touristy" teenage pop but proper music anthems for non -stop dancin- think ecstasy inducing tunes you'd dance to at other dance music clubs like Lightbox, Egg, Bagleys, Ministry, Moondance, Fabric, Paradise, Studio 54 (Brooklyn) spun by global DJs renowed in these genres.
We'll join up to 1,500 other fellow cool young trendy music lovers for a night of blissful musical tranquility, Average age range will be 18 to 35ish heavily skewed toward 20s men.
**Free Tickets limited.** Sorry but if you don't love both uplifting dance music and dancing - please don't rsvp and deprive genuine musical dancers an extremely rare free place! And honestly, if you're only gonna stay for less than a couple of hours there's probably no point in coming. You don't need to stay till 5am like last time but as per most proper clubs - most revellers don't arrive untill 1ish and the main DJ / music sets don't even kick off till 12 so it's would be waste of a free ticket that you'd normally pay up to £70 quid for! Oh & please don't ask me about 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (like every time frequented clubs with my mates - I'd alwaly get some random 19 year old posh white english girl asking me for some - like seriously - is it cause eye is brown?). I'm not a biochemist - try your local Boots!
**=== Time To Make The Floor Burn But Early ===**
The only downside is we have to get in there before 11pm else regular door charge tickets will be about £45-80 quid. If you wanna pay for full price on door/ pre-buy and meet us in there later that's cool too as 11pm is understandably way too early to go a club (hence the free tickets) - we can sort out the details later. DM me for the free ticket link.
We'll meet beforehand somewhere quieter for pre-drinks, intros, banter and obviously music chats about our previous rave escapades, our fav tunes, and non-music related banter. As Koko gets packed by 2am (1500 standing dancing cap) and we have restricted free tickets - to avoid losing people - a small group size will be optimal for dancing and socialising so limiting RSVPs. Obviously you can dance with the other ravellers once they arrive. Will update with nearby super cheap pre-drinks Camden venue in the location and comments so keep an ear out
